Payment Services for an eBook???

Hey everyone!

I'm just about ready to launch an eBook and I'm wondering what a good service is to handle the payment processing.

Ideally, I'd like to upload files to their secure servers and let them handle all the security stuff.

Thanks

Adam

If you launch it here as a WSO you can use PayPal to take payments and then use WSO Pro to handle the download of the file for customers. Once set up, WSO Pro will pretty much take of everything.

Thanks, Mike! It's a training/diet book in a specific niche. Not really WSO material... :-)

        Hi Adam,

Take a look at e-junkie.com that might best suit your needs here.

Thanks, Janet! They were recommended in another thread as well! I think that's the direction I'll be going..

        Hi Adam
How do you know it's not WSO material? You can list a training/diet book as a WSO as long as it's your own creation. If you gave PLR rights to it, it could be a great WSO

DLGuard handles it nicely and provides expiring links. Ejunkie is a monthly fee. DLGuard, you buy and can use it with all your products forever.

I'm a big fan of Clickbank... especially if you want affiliates to promote your ebook for you as well. Just set up an affiliate page with heaps of good promo tools. If your sales page converts well you want have any problems getting people to promote for you.

Yeah, ClickBank is about as push-button as it gets. Plus you get access to one of the biggest affiliate programs on the planet.

E-junkie is the best one. 2checkout, Plimus and Fastspring also optional merchant account providers.

Clickbank is far too expensive for a beginner. It's for more established product creators who already have a good number of affiliates/JV partners. e-junkie charges only $5/mo for up to 10 products, and also lets you create an affiliate program.

I use clickbank for my ebook and paypal for my subscription service. My experiences are that, clickbank are better to deal with although they have that crazy 60 day refund policy, but have a friendly approach and paypal are just a joke when it comes to their customer service and If you have a problem with them then, best of luck to you.
