How effective do you find any one of these auto-submitters for your business?
As I'm doing some reviewing of various products, I'm amazed at the plethora of 'auto-submission' tools. Furthermore, the salespages are exceptionally well written and I'm pretty much tempted to purchase every tool I come across.
I've found everything from:
Scrape Box ($100)
Sick Submitter ($20/month)
Various Bookmarking Tools ($50-$500)
Facebook Friend Adder/PLR spinoffs ($300-$500)
Linkvana ($150/month), SEOLinkVine ($80/month)
Twitter tools (A current WSO thats been advertised here is tweetbomb) ($99-$1000)
etc, etc.
It would be easy to spend $1,000+ just getting these tools.
Furthermore, some of the tools I've come across I'm a bit shocked have sticker prices of $500 - $1,000+ (i.e., ichamelon which is $500, and cladgenius, which is $1k -- incidentally, both of which looking at the feature list I don't think is worth that much seeing as you can get similar or better tools at a fraction of the cost -- but they have really pretty looking and slick looking websites. More specifically -- you could hire a programmer to write it for less than the price of the product). So, that would bring your total price (if you bought everything that has an exceptionally well written sales page, with what appears to be a good tool), to around $4,000-$5,000.
a) Do you actually purchase these tools? If so, which ones?
b) What measureable results have you seen? First off, I'd imagine with the 'spamming' (that probably some do) in the search engines, the net result is kind of like SEO arbitrage.
c) Is it just me, or has "everybody" just decided that charging "$30" or "$50" is too small, and what they heck, might as well charge $1,000+?
With the latter point, it's funny, I actually get the feeling that most people would look at an equivalent $30 tool, say "man that's too cheap", and actually buy a $500 tool simply because it is more expensive (although may not function as well). Would you agree?
