Like me, you've probably seen a few interview style WSOs come up recently, forcing the person they're interviewing to answer a very specific question like "If you had to start from scratch with nothing and make $1,000 from affiliate marketing within 30 days...What would you do?" Credit to Kieran Mcdonogh for this one.

For fun I thought I would post one around helping a Newbie like me getting targetted traffic to their squeeze page. Instead of finding a person to interview, I thought I would make sense posting the question in here for all to benefit, myself included.

So ..... "Gun to the head, starting from scracth with nothing more then a squeeze page in a NON IM niche, your knowledge & $100 for outsourcing or advertising, how would you get 500 targetted unique visitors to your squeeze page in 14 days or less?"

Just to clarify...
-Its has to be a Non IM niche like dog training or weight loss etc...
-Starting from scratch means no list, no JV, no relationships etc...
-$100 can be used for outsourcing or advertising or whatever
-Squeeze page is setup already, but we're not sure if the offer on the thankyou page or followup sequence will convert or not yet.

I can't wait to hear what you would do.

      "Squeeze page"

      Please confirm wether you mean sales page or opt in page.

      Many people throw this term around. A squeeze page is actually an opt in page. But it can also be reffered to as a landing page, and some landing pages are a direct sales page.

    500 visitors in 14 days is an average of 36 visitors a day, If you have targeted your your keyword research you should be picking up close to that on search results alone. I would invest my $100 in Facebook ads. I would also write my own articles and submit them to the "big" 10 article directories. Start a twitter account with a name related to my niche and tweet useful content a few times a day. Maybe a squidoo lense or hubpage. Some social bookmarking. A bit of backlinking, related forums and blogs. Should have no trouble hitting 500 unique in 14 days

    in my limited experience
    I would invest the money in CPC or maybe CPM
    Which I would hope to gain 3-400 visitors
    An maybe spend 490$ on it
    I would use the last 10$ and hired some one send a tweet out in the related niche


    I would have done research after reading these froums in seo and hopefully ranked for a term.
    I would also post on some blogs and forums

    Hopefully that would get me the 500 visitors How many would actually convert in a different story

    I would buy $85 of weed and sit down and write about 25 articles and submit them to EZA and then go to McD's.

    If it were up to me, I personally would use the $100 on a second tier PPC site like Yahoo/MSN Adcenter. I would bid $0.20 Max CPC and target as many niche related keywords as I could possibly come up with. Should be able to generate 500 clicks within a month depending on the niche. I would set this up on day 1, and then spend the rest of the 29 days writing articles.

    There is nothing wrong with this post. One doesn't have to go through the search section on the forum every time. There might be some new techniques of getting traffic, so this post is very relevant.
