using PLR articles to promote affiliate products?

Do many article directories allow you to submit PLR articles? I am trying to get some cash to trickle in so I can pay to have articles written and other things done so I can launch my site faster.

I figure if I use a few modified PLR articles I can direct traffic to a squidoo page that is relevant and has a clickbank affiliate link along with other monetizing stuff. Is this allowed by most article directories?

    As long as you rewrite the PLR then you can submit it to article directories. Many of them will not accept them if they are the same articles elsewhere online so you will need to rewrite them.

    As Sheryl said above, as they are they will probably not get accepted because they have been submitted already. If you were to use the articles so you can rewrite them then you would be onto a winner.

    You should also avoid posting them up on your sites aswell as Google will see it as duplicate content, especially if alot of the content packs have been sold. If you want PLR to use on your site look for offers only selling 5 or 10 copies, this way you know that the world and his wife won't have posted up the same articles.

    Some PLR will even say in the license that it's not to be used in article directories. Also, Squidoo is shutting down lenses that have PLR as content. Since some article directories don't even allow PLR at all, the best thing to do, if you plan to use PLR in that manner, is to totally rewrite the PLR content.

    Most Article Directory do not allowed plr article unless you are the first person to submit the articles.

    As what Sheryl said, you have to rewrite the article before submitting it.

    Uniqueness is always important for article directories, esp. if you are going for the top ranking ones like EZA & GoArticles. So as long as you rewrite the articles, as have been mentioned above, you should be fine.

    Hi,

    You'll absolutely need to rewrite the PLR for the popular article directories.

    However, don't let this discourage you. If you purchase well-researched PLR, this is quite easy to do. If it isn't something you want to tackle on your own, you can outsource it for much less than it would cost for an article from scratch (even with the initial cost of the PLR included).

    PLR is a great thing!

    You most likely have to rewrite the PLR otherwise it might not pass the copyscape.

    You will indeed need to rewrite the plr. 100% rewrites if you want to get accepted in EZA. Other directories may be somewhat less stringent but EZA really evaluates each article submission carefully. There are lots of providers who rewrite articles at affordable fees. If you are submitting LOTS of articles, that may be the way to go.
