Which Hostgator package is right for this particular situation?

I need to transfer a website to Hostgator but I'm not sure which package to get.

Can you help me? My details:

My site will be getting as many as 3,000 to 5,000 unique visitors in a day during a launch next week. I need to be damn sure it does not go down for lack of resources or bandwidth or whatever.

The site is not that many pages and the video that is on the site is hosted elsewhere on Vimeo.

I'm doing ecommerce on the site but it's all through 1shoppingcart.

I'm going to host other sites through them, too, so I want unlimited domains.

Please tell me what you recommend, thanks!

P.S. one reason I'm asking in here is because the sales rep did not know very much. He kept referring to his notes and wasn't very clear on things. Hope that's not an indicator of the level of tech support.

    Because you are planning to add other sites, too, I'd go with a reseller account. That gives separate cpanels for each site - but also gives you the power to instantly change the bandwidth for the launch site if traffic is heavy.

    You have a good amount of space even on the smallest reseller acct ($25/mo) and can allocate the space among sites as needed.

      I was under the impression that a Reseller's version is for someone who manages websites for clients, but I can see how that could work for my situation. Thanks again.
