What to do with 5000+ email subscribers

I run a website that gets around 125 people each day willing to give me their name/email address confirmed opt-in on an aweber form. I started collecting these leads about 2 months ago with a simple aweber form thinking that one day I will figure out some offers to send these people.

Aweber's price just keeps going up since I've topped 5,000 subscribers from having my form up for ~2 months, so I think I need to start making some money off these sign-ups now or close my aweber account.

Any suggestions on how to monetize this? My website is about free stuff, ranks very well on search engines, and is monetized with primarily adsense (it doesn't sell any products). I'm not really interested in managing the process of finding offers to promote and composing messages everyday.

Alternatively to sending out offers to these people myself, would I be able to make money by letting someone else take over the lead collection on my site? For example, I just put someone's lead collection form on my site and he does whatever he wants with the sign-ups, and pays me $1.50 or so per confirmed sign-up?

    You said that you have gathered emails about 5000 subscribers and you think that one day your will offer them your offer. My question is what are you waiting for? You have just gather emails of thousands of subscribers and not offer a single product? I think should have started this process from starting. Before first subscriber signs up you should have at least 10 messages set in your Aweber account. There is no need that you should offer to buy in every email. You should make relationship with your subscribers and then offer your products occasionally. This is long topic to discuss. I think finding new offers is not to much hard. Just go to clickbank and there you find thousands of products to promote. Join JVpro website and they well send you email about upcoming products time to time.       Wheee... wish I had that problem! Ha!

      I am not sure what you list is conditioned for but the CPA networks have some interesting free trial stuff. If the stuff there appeals to your audience I would try it. You can get commission from some of those offers if people just submit and email address.

      I will send you my affiliate link to a free offer and split the profits if you want to try it. LOL

    Hi Pradeep, thanks for the suggestions. I was trying to say that I don't have any particular thing to offer these subscribers right now. I guess I could browse through clickbank products and pick some out and compose some messages trying to get people to buy them... how would I go about best composing a message - perhaps pay someone for the first few so I can get an idea of what a good convincing one looks like?

      It's very hard to know how to monetize a list without knowing exactly how it was attained. It's very easy to build a list of that size, but if it's not done right, then even a large list could be worthless.

      If your list is niche specific, then I'd try some stuff maybe from clickbank and amazon. But if it's not, then you'll probably do better w/ CPA.

        I need to do more on list building, but its important to know that a large list that targeted can turn out to be completely worthless. Its a pity to have a list of 5000 names and not be able to monetize it in some way. I agree that CPA may be best to try on this list.

      I would not suggest you to pay for this! Here is the trick...You have not subscribe to any great names in ineternet marketing? If not subscribe few of them like Travis, Mike G, John Chow, Mike Filasami etc. You will start getting their regular emails. Just study them and your brain will start storming. You will get many ideas to promote products. You can pay anyone easiily but you will not develop your own skill. It is esantial for success.     Gary, I just put up a simple form that says "sign up for *mysite* deals & offers" and the people are coming to my site from searching on google or typing in the domain name just checking out what's there.

    Okay, I found some random offer on neverblue to try sending out by email, but the suppression file has 1.6 million emails on it, and I can't get a suppression list that long uploaded into my aweber account - the aweber suppression page just freezes even when I try to copy over just 10,000 emails at a time. Any tips here?
