I have the skills but need guidance. Would anyone like to mentor me?

First off let me say I'm not desperate and asking for success handed to me on a silver platter. I've studied and learned about IM for going on 3 years now, mostly from buying products and from here on WF. I've always told myself that one day I'd get serious and make a living off IM.

Well that day has come. I quit my job last week and have enough money saved up to where I can work on IM for about 2 months before I'll need to get a part time job.

My IM skills include:

Article Marketing
I can build Wordpress sites
I know the difference between a crap site/theme and a good one.
I already have web hosting
On page and off page SEO
Keyword reserach
Niche research
I know how to generate traffic with articles, social media, back linking, videos etc.
I understand how to use affiliate programs like Amazon, Clickbank, Commission Junction
I know the basics of list building
I know the basics of PPC
I know how to do low scale Media Buys

By now you've probably guessed that I'm the kind of guy who would buy a product, read it then moved on to the next. This is true. I was in the US Army and I'm not lacking discipline or work ethic, just guidance.

My plan of attack is going to be Affiliate Marketing. If you are experienced with that I'd love to have you as a mentor. I'm not going to bombard you with a million mundane technical questions I could easily search on Google or here on the WF, I just need you to point me in the right direction and ensure that my efforts will be well spent.

  • The problem with finding a *successful* mentor is that you dont have anything to offer him to make it worth while for him. Not even money, because if he's successful he will make more money doing his thing than mentoring a few guys.

I'm VERY dubious about "coaches" because I cannot see the reason as of why they'd be coaching instead of doing whatever they're so successful at. And no, helping newbies is not a credible reason I'm afraid.
