CPA will generally be easier to profit from over ClickBank if you're advertising via Facebook.

Do you have experience promoting both on facebook? I know that CPA might convert at a slightly better rate but the clickbank products will pay you 5 or 10 times that a e-mail or zip submit will.

Okay, let me break it down for you. Please remember this is my own personal thoughts and beliefs, and may not be the way it is for your particular situation.

Lets say for even every 8 'offer' submits (CPA by your def) you get 1 product sale (Clickbank by your definition).

Now lets assume on average the 8 offers get you a total of $12, whereas the 1 sale gets you a $15 commission. You might think that the sale is better. But lets think about this for a second:

What about refunds? Clickbank products promoted via facebook are notorious for getting refunded, I've had ones run as high as 45% refund. Now you're really only getting a $8.50 commission instead of your $12 offers.

Think about that, but the only real way to tell is for you to test

PPC and CPA are two different things. PPC is the marketing approach where you generate traffic to your site or product paying per click. Like google adwords, for example. CPA is a commission plan where you got paid a fixed amount for a sale.

  • I've personally never been able to make the PPC-to-Clickbank model work. Too much competition, clicks are too expensive, refund rates too high, conversion rates too low, Google slaps, etc. In the long run, I could never sustain any decent profit.

I'm sure it was profitable some years back, but now a days I cannot see how it could be sustainable.

Use second tier PPC networks like 7search. Effective yet cheap.

In my experience, FB to CPA is usually easier than FB to CB because a FB user's state of mind (socializing) is more likely to fill out a no-cost CPA offer than to pull out a credit card and purchase a CB offer.

FB to CB can work, but it requires careful demographic targeting and skillful pre-selling.

CPA is good for FB. Most of the people do not go to FB for purchase. But if they find something interesting, they may download it for free.

In my experience CPC is a good way of profit. Just FYI.
