If so, it might be a scam.

Are you sure you logged into the genuine paypal site?

Did you personally type the paypal URL or did you click on a link in an email?

I recommend you log back into paypal but hand type their url into your browser and change your password immediately - this sounds like a phishing scam to me!

Uh, if you clicked a link to check your Paypal account, you probably just gave someone your login information. Type in paypal.com yourself and then check your account and then change your password. Very likely what you saw was a very clever spoof of Paypal's site.

Paypal is owned by eBay and one thing they don't do is give away money.

Its not a phishing attempt. (I do this myself with my friends to prank them by stealing their facebook account) I really got $100.

I actually checked my PP with different browser going directly to paypal.com!

I just got an invoice from a person seems to be a scammer. (I hope he sent the invoice after he saw this post)

The title of invoice is "Paypal Promotion"! I'm not taking the Bait! :p

I never know that guy and I didn't ordered any Goods with anyone!

That is very strange. I thought maybe this guy accidentally sent you money and is now sending you an invoice to get it back, but if that was the case it would be from the same email address that sent you the money - very weird!

You must live in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, or Singapore? Did you sign up for the PayPal Wishlist promotion on Facebook? Because they were paying a bounty up to $100 on people signing up to the Wishlist application on Facebook, but only for people in those eight countries.

I don't remember whether I signed up for their Wishlist promotion but I'm from India.
