now somehow translate that to your business and you're set!

Here's another really good flash mob...

It's the guy that starts a dance party at a concert. He was dancing like a goof ball for like 10 minutes and people were making fun of him.. Then a small group starts dancing with him and suddenly like 300 people jump in.

    Wild.

THANK YOU so much for sharing this! LOVE it! I've posted it to my Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Surely they weren't all random shoppers who just belted out the "Hallelujah Chorus" though? At least some of them had to be professionals and it was planned. But I love how they all just stood up randomly and started singing and how the average shopper just joined in.

    LOVE IT!

    Merry Christmas Warriors!

  • This was staged as a "Flash Mob", but was carefully rehearsed by over 80 members of Chorus Niagara. They came to the mall at the crack of dawn and ran through it as a final, "dress down" rehearsal on Saturday, November 13, 2010.

Then, around noon, they cut loose.

I blog posted this here: Vince Runza Online: How to Go Viral: Content Is King, Hallelujah!

    Merry Christmas!

I was just commenting, recently, that I don't weep. I'm a guy, right?

That's the key to successful viral campaigns -- you grab people by their heartstrings. Make 'em:
      • Laugh
      • Cry
      • Shout
      • Scream
Whatever you do, DON'T just do something wacky: do something powerful, emotionally.

      HTH

I thought it was interesting that it was obviously professionally filmed with multiple cameras yet no-one seemed to be paying any attention to the cameras out of curiosity.

    Call me an old cynic.

With camera tech nowadays you can be FAR out of sight and get a very good close up. Try and let go of the cynicism and enjoy the spirit of it ...

To quote Gandalf, at the end of LOTR: "I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil."

OMG, am I getting sappy in my old age!

          No, really!

I agree with Vince (and Gandolf). Thanks for the post. Every day needs a bright spot. I watched this; put it on my Facebook page; and have already gotten thank you messages for it. (And it brought tears to my eyes as well)

  • If you viewed this video and shared it, ask yourself: what was it that made me take action? Chances are, it was an emotional reaction that got you off your aspirations and motivated you to pass this video along, however you may have done it.

Naturally, not all viral content has to be positive. Controversy can be a powerful motivator, too. The point is, logic, value, greed, etc., don't do the trick. Emotional content does!

    Go, thou, and do likewise.
