Something Doesn't Quite Add Up

Hi, All...

I have a niche website that attracts more than 800 uniques daily and gets over 2,400 views.

It is decorated with attractive creatives from one of the most profitable affiliate programs not only in the niche but anywhere.
Yet I am making zero in sales. Other webmasters who get less traffic report to making more sales.

WTF - Is someone ripping me off? I'm very frustrated. Does there exist a service that troubleshoots low commission problems on websites?

Cheers!

Conversion comes down to a lot more than just having 800 people that see your website decorated with attractive creatives... ie:
    • Traffic Source
    • Keywords (seo/ppc)
    • Mindset Of Your Visitor
    • Website Usability
    • Preselling
    • etc
Testing and tracking is the key to success with conversion... Start at the traffic source and work your way down the funnel to the final sale...

Okay, so what kind of products/services are you promoting? Do you know what class of visitor you are attracting? You can find out what you are attracting, and then tailor to meet your audience. There is no sense advertising in english if all your visitors are from china.

what incentive you give your visitors to actually get the heck out of your site and click on your ads?

sad but true, your site might be too cute. This is why i don´t like the adsense/banner model. You need a somewhat repulsive website, or a huge one to make real money.

now, if instead of just putting the stuff around and hope for the best, you engage the users in a conversation somehow (to build a list is the most common), then you can market to them with better conversions.

another possible way out is to sell ad space. The back link and some traffic is usually pretty good for business.

      hope it helps,
      Sandra

The phrase "decorated with attractive creatives" leads me to believe that you are not preselling the product but simply putting banners on. If that be the case, then this could be the reason you are not converting well. That, plus what the others said above me ... there's actually more to selling then just getting traffic.
