Need help figuring out how to download EZS3 flash training videos

Hi all,

I'm sure someone here will know if this is possible and how to do it...

I signed-up for a very expensive training course, which is available through the end of the month. In this course, there are a number of Flash video seminars that I would like to download so I can watch them at my leisure rather than having to just sit and view them one after the other before the end of the month.

I've tried Flash Video Downloader (addon for Firefox) and it detects the flash, but when downloaded, it only results in a 58KB file, which obviously isn't correct. The URL it detects is http:// ezs3.s3.amazonaws.com/player/mediaplayer46.swf?t=1292097414498

I'm guessing that what's getting saved is a Flash player and not the actual content, which is indirectly downloaded by the player...

It has to be possible to grab this video somehow, as the data is obviously coming into my computer when I watch the videos, but I'm at a loss how to capture it. Can anyone tell me how to grab video from ezs3? I'm not finding much help on the web...

    Hi Cheeze,
I think I've cracked it. I've got a big file downloading now. If it goes OK, I'll knock up a quick-and-dirty piece of software to help.
    Regards,

      Hi Andrew,

Any luck with this? I was going to Camtasia them all, but that will take a long time since it happens real-time (and my testing had audio/video sync issues, but that's minor).

      Thanks!
