Help! I accidentally uninstalled wordpress from my site!!

Help!!! I was like on page 3 for my keyword. I was trying to uninstall wordpress from another site that had a similar domain name. I contacted my host to restore it. they said it will take 12-24 hours. Will this affect my rankings? Should I keep back linking?

You'll probably be ok but if you know which database and user was connected to your first site you could re-install word press and use that first database. Unless you used Fantastico to install and un-install it.

  Unless you are in a super-duper competitive niche, it ought to be okay to stop backlinking for a day. And I really hope you shall not lose rankings at least in Google as long as the delay is within a day and it has happened once in a blue moon.

  I guess you should do your backup.
  
  Send your backup to your emails like the wp plugins
  
  Or just to backup too make it safe.
  
  Uninstalling wordpress is a great risk. I would never definitely do that especially money starts to come in!

Unless your keyword is super-competitive, I doubt that a 24 hour hiatus is going to affect anything. You can take a break from your backlinking activities until your site is back up.

  Dont worry, google asks for 99%+ uptime for sites. My site was down for 30+ days. I lost the top position. I thought I would never make it back. When my site were up also I could not see it at first. But after somedays I saw it climbed up back to the position where it was. I did no back-linking etc. It all happened automatically.
