Dear warriors who have done Solo Ads,

Does Solo Ads really work? Which member in this forum do you recommend for high unique clicks with reasonable price?

Solo ads can work. Make sure your offer converts at a high rate first, though. And remember - someone selling ad slots to his own mailing list probably has a list full of people who are on a lot of other lists. Do you really want new people on your list who are getting a ton of offers from other list owners?

I'm not a fan of solo ads or ad swaps, but there's no denying that you can grow a list very quickly. So if numbers are a big deal to you, go for it!

It sounds to me as if this could turn into a vicious circle, quick list growth form solo ads ... and because that person now has a big list they also sell solo ads.....mmmmm a bunch of the same people being sold to everyday does not seem like very high conversions to me.

What are some real experiences I am interested

Cathy, this is why you need to always test with a small mailing first, no matter how tantalizing the price for a big mailing may be (I've seen some people offer $300 or so for mailing to a list of 20,000+ prospects). When a person's list is suffering from mailing "burn out" (due to selling too many solo ad spots, for example), then they start lowering their prices, and this is a usually a sure sign that the list is not going to convert that well.

    Hi Benjamin,

As long as you have a converting marketing funnel, solos are best for quick list building. People on your list will definitely buy unless you build relationship with them consistently every week.

I personally only use one traffic method and that is Adswaps. As adswaps increase my list size and makes me money at the same time through my converting marketing funnel.

At the end of the month, I will buy a tons of solos to increase my list size. It is all about focus man.

Once you got a target to hit, a goal to meet, a plan to follow, solos and adswaps are the fastest and profitable traffic on Earth you can find.

Adswap all the way to success!

Solo ads don't work! more often than they do! The trick is to have an offer than is laser targeted to the selected solo ad readers. Just because it's solo does not mean success. Target the offer to the solo audience, target the headline to the audience and make an Irresistible offer!

Of course they do, but you have to do some initial testing to see which lists fit your offer the best though. In addition to that, you want to start off with a small mailing first, and then reinvest some of your profits in a bigger mailing - never blow $200+ on a single mailing until you know that the list converts well first.

That's what happens a lot of times, the money is "invested" without the research on the solo ad readers
