How do you get the title of the blog theme out of your header?

Hi can someone help me. I clicked on editor and looked for header, but i didn't see the "simplista" title I'm trying to delete. Can someone tell me how to get rid of this big blog theme title?

      In the wordpress panel, click on settings in the left hand column. The page that will open is called "general settings". The top box has the title in it. Just take it out. You can also take the tag line out if you want.

          I just looked at it, and I think that is an image. That's why it did not work. You will need to go into your public_html/wp-content/themes/images folder, and remove the image folder, but you may end up with a blank spot, or a white spot, when you take the image away. You could add a new image.

          It might be best to get a new header made, or get xheader, and make your own. It's free

      It's always helpful to mention your platform.

      Just making the general settings: title blank might leave the window title blank and hurt SEO, so can turning off the title, but you can reproduce it in post text.

      Assuming you re using wordpress, some themes will provide the option in the Appearance menu. I am using the free 2010 Weaver theme on some wordpress 3.0 sites, it includes a checkbox for: Hide Site Title/Description

      On other configurations you might have to resort to brute force code deletion from the Header.php file with the appearances Editor. There might be a detailed guide on the web.

    the title 'simplista' on your header, it's a png (graphic). You will have to create your own graphic image and replace the default one.

      Check the images folder in your theme. There's probably a blank logo image where you can just insert the title of your site. Then just save it with the same name as your logo image and upload it overwriting the original logo image.

      Don't pay anyone to do this please. It's really simple to do and will probably only take you a minute.
