Why time away from this forum is not a good idea for your bottom line

Hi it feels like I need to introduce myself again. Hi I am Cathy.....

It has been nearly 3 weeks that I have been away from here and it feels like forever.

I have heard people say that the best thing for their business was to stop being on the forum and get to work. I found the opposite, my focus was drawn away so quickly form my business.

My absence was more forced than planned, but I still lost focus by not getting on here everyday and seeing what was happening in the industry. The posts from both old and new constantly motivate me ... The ideas thrown around get me thinking and really moving on my own stuff.

SO I believe that if you really spend your time on here with the intention of learning and helping this forum is an amazing asset to your business, and best of all it is fun to.

So my new goal is no matter what happens I must make at least one useful post on the forum a day. (I hope this counts )

Well that felt good I hope to catch up on all the comings and goings of the forum soon.

P.S. anything big that I missed since November 27th ?

Welcome back Cathy, I was wondering where you'd dissappeared to.

Good to see you again. Apart from the forced work approach, did you get plenty done all the same?

I am never lazy always busy but I was not busy growing my business and that saddened me I had come so far I felt; and this put me back a bit. I realize WF was a major reason for my constant motivation before.

Welcome back, Cathy. I think you've missed quite a bit by being gone for so long, but I realize that you had little control over your circumstances. Were you able to work on anything IM related during your long absence?

Not much at all Paulie, I did a few things but that was mostly catching up.

I feel so much more focused when I am on the forum daily.

Maybe people need forums for motivation, but for me they are definitely more distraction...but a fun distraction. I'm at the point now where I'm a lot more focused on what will really make a material difference in my business. In the past, I used to try every trick/technique to see if it helped. Now I'm less focused on tactics and more focused on overall strategy.

Good to check in as there is ALWAYS at least one new thing under the sun, if you can find it between rants and repeat questions.

(Nothing wrong with repeat questions, helps not just the OP but anyone who may have 'strayed')
