Content for relationship building with list?

Hello all

I am close to having everything set and ready to go to launch my product but I am very hesitant as I don't feel like I have a solid grasp on how exactly to treat your list. I understand the big picture is to feed them quality content and to build a relationship with them but I'm not sure exactly what I would send out over the long term. Where do you personally find good stuff to send out to your list? My product is in the blackjack niche and I am having a tough time figuring this one out.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!!

    Hi there,
To keep content fresh and 'hot off the press' I usually visit my local magazine shop and take a quick glance at my niche's magazine. You can guarantee that you'll always have a topic that's popular within your niche by doing this. I then make a note of it, come home and browse through google to see what I can find before writing something in my own words.
Another thing you could do is visit your niche's forum and see what people are posting ie a common problem that they all seem to be having. You could then give this away for free is yor newsletter, report etc.
Hope this can be of some help. Best of luck

There's plenty of ways to find good content you can use with your list. Remember, it does not always have to be content you have come up with yourself. People will still appreciate you for showing them a Youtube video or a blog post they may otherwise have not seen but is still of interest to them.

I think it actually shows your list that you like to keep up with the trends and the fact that you are willing to share information with them that is not always just some form of self-promotion, helps build some trust and authority.

So look in magazines related to your niche, search Youtube for videos that offer Blackjacks tips or tricks, search Google news for the latest articles to do with Blackjack, and so on. Also go and subscribe to any other Blackjack newsletters or websites you can find so you can see the sorts of things they are sending to their lists.

Another good tip is to go to Google Alerts and setup a new alert to do with the main keywords in your niche. This way whenever a new blog post, youtube video, webpage, whatever, is indexed in Google, you will be emailed a notification right away - this is a good way to keep on top of the latest news and trends in your niche so you can report on them immediately to your own subscribers.

    Good luck!

Personally, when I looking for content for my audience I use forums. Find a problem, and provide the answer.

For example, I just did a search for blackjack forums, headed to the Advanced Strategies section of the first forum in the search results and I see a post about Ace Cuts. I don't know anything about this (except what I read on the forum), but if this were my niche and I did know, I'd explain what Ace Cuts are, how to get the best accuracy to perform the technique, advantages, disadvantages, etc, and you could break up your ideas to spread them out as follow-ups, so maybe you could get 3 follow-ups out of Ace Cuts.

Just rinse & repeat for more advanced strategies, maybe even do card counting follow-ups, and depending on how your page is setup and how you're building your list, for any subscribers you may get that don't buy your product, you can give them free mini tips you provided in your course.

Other places that could be good to find content could be yahoo answers, and ezinearticles (search what other people have written about your niche and you send content to your list that's better).

    Good luck.
