I have a physical product... how should I sell?

Hey Warriors!

Thanks for taking time to read my post --

I've been working hard at getting everything ready for my product to be launched on the internet on December 1. It's a patented product and it's really awesome.

No, we're not talking Patent Pending. I'm talking about the real deal.

Anyways, it is used for home Hot Water Heaters and Furnaces to reduce fuel use and increase efficiency. We have the product installed at Kodak, Delphi, fruit drying facilities, schools, ice arenas, and countless other places. The technology is now scaled down to work in homes.

The product guarantees a 10% savings in fuel use. Spread out over 10 years, you're looking at 5-10 thousand dollars in savings. Serious.

My copy is just about finished, as I finalize some buttons and graphics this weekend.

I have a guy working PPC with me, but would like others input. Should I just sell this on a single-page sales letter, or would I be better off selling it through an affiliate company? I can't do CJ because I haven't been selling it online for over 1 year, so DirectTrack is what seems to fit best.

If anyone has any opinions, or is interested in the launch, please contact me. I'd love to work out a WSO. I'll be happy to provide any creative necessary --- I just need some guidance.

Thanks a million!

Have a great weekend.

  • You could sell it from your own website using your own affiliate system - no need for a affiliate company.

    Hey Casey,

Here's a few things that will help you out.

First for the affiliate program, you can get your own and control everything for under $100 at www.freetoolsandtips.com/idev.

Second, if you're selling a cd or dvd, you can go to Kunaki -- CD/DVD manufacturing and publishing service and they will package and ship it out, per order for you, so you can focus on other things. (They're really inexpensive, around $1.75 per order).

Third, if you don't have the graphics or website done, you can go to Chicago Web Design to get it done at a fair price.

    Talk to you soon.

I would recommend shareasale as an affiliate network. If you set up your own program, it may prove very difficult to find affiliates. You can also have employ a professional affiliate management company such as AMWSO to manage the program for you including finding super-affiliates. I would recommend that you join abestweb.com and ask for opionions there.
