Congrats!

Two days in a row is pretty impressive. You actually don't need $100 to receive a check from Clickbank.

Payment Threshold
The "Payment Threshold" is a predetermined minimum amount of money you must have in your account before we cut you a check. You may select an amount from $10 to $1,000,000 as your Payment Threshold amount. The default setting is $100. We hold your payment until your payable balance reaches this amount. A $2.50 pay period processing charge is deducted from each payment we issue. To change your Payment Threshold, login to your account and select the "Account Settings" tab. Click "Edit" to the right of the "Payment Information" section. Select the "Payment Threshold" of your choice, and click the "Save Changes" button.

However:

ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:

Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers; and,
Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers.

Good point Paleo, payspree looks fine, maybe I'll try that, but the marketplace looks much smaller. But I like the fact that they pay immediately to paypal, no need to bother with cheks etc.

Awesome. I love seeing these posts.

Feels so good yes? I remember the first time I made a sale I jumped up and screamed. Scared my poor dog half to death! I think he's over it by now, but he still looks at me kinda funny when I get anywhere near a computer.

I really never could believe I could make a sale, it always looked like someone else's story, and I mean, I even didn't like clickbank anyway, selling information products...
It's still unbelievable. From a site that I put up in 3 days, and maybe 4 days of backlinking? But it was barely like 5 hours backlinking a day... not even a whole day.

IM is weird!!!!

  But I really tell you honestly that it was a site with 4 articles, most of them I wrote them looking at already existing articles. 1 page per article.
  And a few banners on it about the affiliate product.
  And I probably did some backlinking for 4 days, that's it. And that would be like 3 4 weeks ago.
  I just gave up on that site and on that niche... to find out 3 hours ago that I made sales for 2 days consecutive!!!!

If you don't have anything else really panning out right now I would highly suggest you go examine your process, for example what methods did you use to promote the new site, view your site statistics in your cpanel and see where the traffic is generally coming from, etc. And try to expand on that to see if you can grow your traffic and sales on that particular product. Focus on what's working first and grow it. Anyway, good job and congrats on your first taste of "internet money" lol and keep working!

This is great! Just remember what got you there. Most people who see success with clickbank (or in any field for that matter) simply find what works, and then repeat it again and again. If you are already making that kind of money, then there is no reason you cannot scale it to $10,000+ per month in a short period of time!

I haven't tried backlinks because I am not sure how good are the companies providing backlinks.

I didn't even purchase hosting and domain.

I spent no money on advertising.

It was a free website made with yolasite.com, it's sort like blogger.com, I just didn't know blogger was better at the beginning of my IM.

Anyway NO investment at all. Just 7days with less than 5 hours a day, putting up a site, writing a few articles based on already existing articles, some backlinking, that's all.

Wow! I think if you continue doing this and make consistent money for at least 3 months, you can make this into a WSO. Im sure many people would like to know how to make money online without any money invested! I would reckon you got something goin on here

Hi Daveyz,
Making a WSO? I don't think anyone would purchase lol, I just started IM a month ago, and I'm a super newbie.
Also I really do not know how I made money with this little site, because that was like the playing with toys of a 5 years old kid.
I'll examine the process during the holiday, for now college homework is stressing me out a lot, lol.

I'd like to know myself too what was it that made the person make the purchase there. I mean as I stated before, this site was my testing-playing site following some instructions on how to make an affiliate site found on google. Now after playing with this site for probably 7 day, I started to think this niche was too bad, clickbank was too bad to continue working on it, so I turned my back on clickbank and started to study more on e-bay and amazon affiliate markets. So since then I've been going through a WSO program, but still need to see the results with this.

And just randomly, just by curiosity, I logged in my clickbank account and whoila there's the sales I got, lol.

Anyway for newbie starters like me, try one thing, and stick to it at least 7 days lol, because that's how long I sticked to that site, and wait, forget about it, and check it again one month later, maybe you'll get similar results, lol

You will be surprised that many people do not get the quick "success" that you do in such a short time. It took me 3 months plus to get my first sale. So apparently you must be doing the right things. You now just have to make it consistent. Like i said, only if you can constantly bring in sales for the next 3 months AT LEAST with each month sales greater than the previous month, then would you want to create a WSO because im sure alot of people would like to know what is it you have done and how you did it step-by-step. Infact if you achieved this, I would be the first person to buy it

It is agreat feeling hey? WOW and six weeks in thats very good. My advice; do not let this get to your head, and make you now look for 100 more Niches.

Keep doing what you have, keep building the site and when you have spent a month or more and are happy that tweeking is all you can do then continue on to a new niche or site.

#2 I highly recommend you put something like getclicky.com into your html code.

Upgrade once it pays for itself and repeat on other sites.

Basically you can watch in real time the actions people take, how they got there, what searches. It's priceless.

I use it to see where my process breaks down, and what's working or not, and what actions people are taking once they get into my funnel. Amazing to see what stuff people click on a regular basis that I never thought they even bothered to look at.

#3 Consider ways to get them onto a list as well, perhaps and exit pop. You could basically quadruple your sales by capturing just a bit more of the people that normally click away and warming them through followup.

#4 Remember to come back and tell me how awesome I am once you've actually done this and seen how it kicked your sales into 6th gear!

As for getting paid, they'll send you a check when you reach the threshold and all the money has cleared. If you live in the US, you should look into setting up direct deposit.

Yes, you are correct. There are not so many products to choose from as Clickbank yet but they are growing - and quite rightly so. Clickbank looks very old, clunky and tired compared to Payspree which is in effect the cloud version of the $7 dollar secrets idea.

Personally I would urge Vendors and Affliates alike to check it out & start using it. It offers great value to both parties.

Does anybody know? Can you give me some tips and advice?

Anyway, Im just hoping if they have an rss feed via own affiliate links on it.

1) Traffic to squeeze page (articles, pressrelease, PPC)

2) Squeeze => Thankyou page FREE PDF (with an affiliate product offer)

3) Autoresponder message (8 spread out 2 days apart)

4) Back end offer 1

5) Backend offer 2

6) Monthly membership.

I use this simplified model and bring in 4 times what I did at my crappy office job. I average about 80 - 150 sales a month. This is how I make my full time income.

Well, have you checked to see if your site is ranking for any of your keyword terms? If it is, then there's your most likely source of those additional sales.

I hope you're also starting to build additional sites promoting Clickbank products, just like your first one?

Actually before I got my first sale on clickbank I thought that clickbank was too competitve and I've got into amazon sites and it's already week 3. I'm doing a proper amazon associates site, so I put my hands off from Clickbank, I'm just happy as it is with clickbank, an occasional $30 from that clickbank site I made will be enough, my major income I plan it to be Amazon.
Amazon sounds more ideal, I like the idea of selling physical products more than info products althought Clickbank gives higher commission (it probably means harder to convert).

When I read the post and replies it made me think back to the first time I logged into clickbank and saw that little bar had moved and money was ACTUALLY in my account!

I was overcome with happiness and it gave me the springboard to go ahead and rinse and repeat.

You have reached an important milestone. The MOST important milestone. Why? You've proved you have the ability to make money online... you KNOW you can do it.

Go and repeat what you did and refine it to add even more sales. With time, experiment more and add more revenue streams to your business.

I really never could believe I could make a sale, it always looked like someone else's story, and I mean, I even didn't like clickbank anyway, selling information products...
It's still unbelievable. From a site that I put up in 3 days, and maybe 4 days of backlinking? But it was barely like 5 hours backlinking a day... not even a whole day.

IM is weird!!!!

Reading that little bit, you must believe in yourself and your ability to make money. Believe and focus on repeating what you did that made money.

I think its kinda of tough when people tell us about there success and really don't give us any more advice regarding how and what they did. You would have been better off not saying anything. Anyway, congrats on your success and I wish you all the best, but personally a little help for "us" getting started would be great.

I've worked with CaesarSEO in the past and I can tell you one of the things that will help you see results is not just researching the good keywords and niches but also focusing on updating your site...preferably DAILY!

If you take the approach of working on your site by developing engaging content every day, it will do wonders.

Despite all of the Google updates, keyword optimization and fresh, updated content are the two significant areas when it comes to seeing rankings with affiliate sites. Backlinks in the grand scheme of things play a much smaller role.

Google Dances are normal so expect it but also expect to take a long term approach with any affiliate site you create. Don't give up when your site drops off the radar in the beginning....That's the time to stick with it, more than ever.
