The New Facebook Personal Profile

INTERNET MARKETING

Facebook has a new profile look. The functionality has not changed. If you would like to update your profile then just go to the following link. It makes it a little easier to navigate and less junky stuff on your own and other people's profile. To update your profile, go to Facebook -about-profile. Sorry, I would post a direct link but the forum will not let me post links yet.

Yes I checked this earlier, I liked the old one. Got used to it. Need to check new once again.

Any idea how their mail works?

  I was able to send messages to my external email addresses but you can only attach images, videos or links. Tried numerous times to attach an image from my hard drive but all were unsuccessful even though the messages got through. Links went through but haven't tried videos yet.
  Curiously, although you can get to messages from the top messages icon, the messages text link option is only available on the left sidebar when viewing your feed not your profile? Long way to go before it's a threat to conventional email.

It also added a bunch of your photos at the top of your profile. I went to the Privacy settings and changed it so they no longer appear to anyone but me.

(Just a preference of mine.)

  I like the photostream feature, as it allows you to prioritize the updates you get from friends (especially helpful if you have thousands of them!)

I also notice this new interface and it seems that it’s posting your actual comments on your profile. I think this is their way so people will not visit other profiles anymore since they’ll have an idea what your comment is.
