How can I decide which Clickbank product to promote?

There is a product on clickbank that I want to promote but there are several affiliate programs for it. I have narrowed it down to 4 different affiliate programs through clickbank but can't decide which one to go with. Some are vendor spotlight and all pay about the same. 1 pays a little less but w/ upsell. I have narrowed it down to these 4 because of the nice sales/ landing page. How should I choose?

    Do any of these sites have affiliate tools to help with promoting, like banners, articles, etc? If everything else is equal (landing page, commission %, etc,) then why not try the one with the upsell?

      Well, I guess that is possible. I wanted to make a page for it so I can build a list and I didn't want to buy several domain names.

    Test the sales page conversion rate of all of them in rotation, the effectiveness or nor of their designs can make make all the difference for a small margin PPC advertising campaign.

      How would you suggest going about this quickly? Are you saying to link to a certain page one day and the other page another day, or run a ppc campaign and direct link to test? Or other ideas...

    Do people still use the standard creatives (and banners, articles, etc) when promoting affiliate programs?

    I thought you were supposed to make up your own stuff and use that...

      Some products with clickbank will provide "tools" that you can add to your own site or wherever you want like banners, videos, testimonials, etc...

    I would reckon you promote all. Because what works for others may not necessarily work for you. Or you may find that all 4 can bring in streams of income for you at different days!

      Its actually easy....if you have a large list :-)

      Thats the key! Create a list of buyers in your niche and you can easily sell thousands of dollars in affiliate sales if you promote the right product to your list.

    The things that I look at before I promote a product.....
    1. See if you can get a review copy, so you can actually see if the product is of high quality
    2. Has excellent sales copy
    3. Has at least one upsell (preferably 2 or 3)
    4. Has high gravity and notice that other affiliates are promoting it (means its converting and there is money to be made)
    5. Reoccurring affiliate revenue is a plus!
    6. Last but not least.....product solves a problem with a huge need in a particular market/niche.

    It all depends on the sales funnel and the keywords that you choose. The site doesn't have to look "perfect" to convert into sales. The art of persuasion works a great deal. Test the different copies that offer benefits to the customer. Remember it's all about what they will get, not necessarily what it looks like.

    There is a thread on here that Alexa smith goes into detail about, on how she picks here click bank products. She does very well out of clickbank so maybe hook her up and find the thread.

    I would find it, but it's 4 am here and I have just got home from a heavy night out so probably wouldn't find it... hic up...!
