So i got 1 product approved in Clickbank and I paid $49.... all well..

now I want to sell a different product
different niche
different thank you page

1) do I still need to re-pay the $49 ?
2) why do I get an auto-approval after I submitted the 2nd product?

Thanks guys

I know that if you were to submit other products into the same existing account, you only have to pay $30 thereafter for every other product after the first one.

This is not the case. You can sell hundreds of products from the same account and only pay once.

        Hi Will

Are you sure about this. 2 of my products are in the same/close niche but because they are on different sales pages I paid a fee for a new account. This is what clickbank advised me to do. The only way to have it on the same account is to have the product on the same sales page.

I do not know of any clickbank products that share a page - it wouldn't work

          Hi Kenj

Yes - I am sure. I never give this kind of advice without knowing the answer. I sell over 100 products from a single ClickBank account.

          Kenj

All my products have separate sales pages.

You have this the wrong way round, Davey.

It's if you DON'T have your other products in the same account that you have to pay the $29.95, because that's the product activation fee for second and subsequent products listed in their own, new accounts.

If you add other products to an existing account, you don't have to pay an extra fee for it (but are limited to one marketplace listing and one commission-rate).

It's pretty straightforward, and it's all explained here.

You have to pay the $49 only once when you open your first account, and after they approve your product. You can have up to 500 products in the same account, and all those products will be auto-approved (in that same account, after the first product). No additional fees for the remaining 499 products in the same account.

If you want to list a product in a different niche, you should open a new account because in one account all products have the same target URL, and the same commission rate. So, if your second product is in a totally different niche, obviously, the same URL that you designated in your first account would not be appropriate.

In short, one account for up to 500 products for the same (or very similar niche).

Each additional account will also have its own fee, paid after the approval of its firs product. No more fees per account.

P.S> If you open a new account, the fee might be lower IF you tell them that you already have an account, and you give them the first account's credentials, so they can see that you are already a customer. You have to do tis at the same time you submit your first product for the second account.

Thats all good info thank you

Does that mean CB will let me sell multiple products on the one site, as long as they each have matching prices but different URLs?

What if some parts of the site are not for clickbank products, is that allowed too?
E.g. A site selling lawnmowers but wants to have a section selling a gardening ebook...?

You can sell multiple products on multiple sites. What other pages and merchant gateways you have on your other pages - it's your business.

The products don't have to have matching prices. They can be any price up to the amount Clickbank approved your account. It's the commission rate you pay your affiliates (that you designated) is what's the same for all products in the same account.

Same account, up to 500 products, same commission rate, different prices ok, same target URL for all products in same account (but they can have different sales pages).

e.g. You have five products in the same account. On the target URL, you have a thumbnail image of each product. Clicking on each image will take you to each product's own individual sales letter.

I don't see why Clickbank would have a problem with non-Clickbank items being on the target URL, but I don't know the specific answer.

Edit: After some thinking, yes, I can see how Clickbank might have an issue with non-Clickbank products on the target URL, but didn't check Clickbank's policies about this -- I never had to deal with this.

Use Payspree. Its far less expensive and far better for getting commissions through, both for you and your affiliates.

You can also use tools such as EasyClickMate to create multiple target URLS into your 1 Clickbank account.

Not only will you save money this way on Clickbank activation fees, you will also increase your CB gravity if you sell multiple products through one CB account.

I think DLGuard of Sam Stevens also has a similar script, not sure what it's called though..

    Cheers,

The fee is reduced, I think.
