Can anyone show me where to and how to paste the google analytics code on your page in order to track visitors.

Is It important to have unique codes embeded for every single page on your site.

Or There Is A Alternative Instead.

  • You just use one code for the whole site. Google is able to sort out the pages. But each site will have a different code.

    And as mentioned above, I just put is as the last thing before the </body></html> tags.

    • You can paste it in your footer.php file just before </body>. If you're using Wordpress, there are plugins that add the code for you.

    If you are using html pages, then you need to add it on all pages

    If you are using CMS like wordpress, joomla then add it in footer

    In either case, it is good to add before </body>
