Warriors, Lets Hear Some Plans For 2011...

Im always one to declare my goals and what I want to accomplish because it makes it more real for me.

I know we all have some major things we want to accomplish next year.

Some have bigger goals than others, but what might be small for you might be huge for another.

Im going to share my plan for 2011...

My primary goal for 2011 is to build out another 3 niche brands that make a minimum of $8,000 a piece.

Second, we are looking to add another brand to a major niche we own and start doing higher end seminars, with a goal of 4 seminars next year at a price point of $3000 to $6000.

Add 4 high end clients to my internet marketing small business company, at a minimum of $3000 a month each.

And, lastly our goal is to grow the brands we already have by 20% each...

Now, these are just our front end goals. We have a lot going on in the background but I can't share everything in this little post.

Alright, now its your turn...

What are some of your major plans and goals for 2011?

For this year, I had planned to create a plan.

    Didn't happen.

So, for next year, I plan to make a plan to make a plan.

Wow. Was that ever tiring. Maybe I'll just make a plan to make a plan to make a plan.

All this planning is killing me.

      I love it!

Well my plan for 2011 is to buy 3 more solo ad swaps, build a list of 400 people in the IM niche and begin ad swapping. I'm setting a realistic goal of making $1000 in 2011.

      Hello Dan C. Rinnert,

I think you should planning now because you already created one, it's time for intervention/implement now; time to work all your plans.

for me, I am planning to make new strategies to boost the business, hopefully to make this year a good close and next year to be a very great year.

Well that's hardly going to fill bellies, is it?

Don't make plans, make flans. Automate your flans and you'll never go hungry again

Broadly, my plans are much the same as usual - to cut waste and make better use of resources. I've failed abysmally on that score this year - I've got stuff on my hard drive that I can't even remember putting there and belong to a couple of membership sites that (timewise) have found themselves so far down on my list of priorities that I rarely login. I'll be dealing with all this mental and digital clutter over the holidays and refining a more detailed plan once I can fully see the road within the trees again.

Personally, the same vow as usual as well - not to drink any more beer. And not to drink any less, either. I might even make a flan too. Chilli cheese and onion...

I don't know if I can top the first two comments. I didn't know this was comedy hour. I'll give you my plan for 2011 and you can hold me accountable to this. I am going to create at least one product per month for the 1st six months and then expand from there.

So you heard it first...sorry no jokes!

I'm very serious about my membership apps. I have this feeling the INTERNET will start promoting paid content, especially with apps all this weird talk of regulations and what not. And with apps $1.99 to $4.99 per month isn't much but if you are delivering what people want that = $$$

Always make time for humor. If you're serious all the time, you'll end up stark raving mad.

My plans for 2011 are to focus more on affiliate marketing and not Google Adsense. Actually I'm just waiting for my next Adsense check and I'm done with them for good. Affiliate marketing is where I'm at in 2011 and beyond.

As for everything else in 2011? I really need to get this independent film off the ground and into somebody's damn film festival... but thats for another message board haha...

I come from a background of predominantly making "micro-niche" AdSense and Amazon sites, and although that's been reasonably successful for me, the work it takes to upkeep them (constant backlinking and creating and ranking new keyword-focused pages to replace obsolete/discontinued products, etc) is quite tiring and tedious.

So over the coming months, the biggest portion of my attention and efforts is/are going to be focused on list-building and Clickbank product promotion, with traffic harnessed through quality article marketing and SEO.

I don't have any strict income goals as yet for these new sites, for the coming year, because as much good advice as I've absorbed from "the right people", and as much as I already know about certain things (SEO, etc), there's still bound to be something of a learning curve, and certain aspects that I think one can only learn to approach optimally via a process of trial-and-error and testing.

For that reason, my goal of "cracking Clickbank affiliate marketing" is quite vague, and perhaps not too exciting/inspiring for others to hear. That said, once I've got some income coming in from these new sites, and I've evolved my strategies/techniques somewhat, and am possessing of more confidence in my ability to identify and "work" new niches efficiently and profitably, I'll perhaps schedule an income target, and go from there.

That's a great plan though, I remember trying every-bodies tactics and business plans but it wasn't till I experimented myself and cracked my own codes, that many many light bulbs came on.

Interesting enough, it was with affiliate marketing just like you are trying...

Try drawing yourself out 4 different blueprints and try each one. The one that pays is the winner.

        Cheers.

I do actually have an overall "blueprint" (in my head) to follow, that I'm confident will work.

Traffic generation shouldn't be so much of a problem, as that's not new to me. It's just that having not actually been down the mailing-list building/marketing (and hence "relationship building") route before, I'm certain there'll be elements of my initial/early approach that won't be quite so optimal as they could (and will eventually) be. But those, unfortunately, can only be identified, learned from and thus rectified by "testing and tuning". Hopefully quite swiftly, mind.

Essentially, I'm confident in my "general/overall approach" working just fine. I just don't, as yet, have enough experience (nor sufficient "data") as to be able to realistically set any sort of Clickbank income goals for the next few months to a year; not without almost certainly failing to meet them, anyway.

Good for you! This is a big goal and will be a tremendous accomplishment.

      Believe me, I know.

I wrote and published my first book this year. In fact, it just came out in Nov. and I'm SO excited about it!

I lost my job in Feb. and started writing my book within two weeks, unsure of how I was going to get it published. Less than two weeks after that, I found the PERFECT publishing solution for me. The timing was just phenomenal and I'm so thrilled with the finished product! My publisher did a wonderful job with the design and she also designed bookmarks, coffee mugs, a Twitter background to match my book cover, etc.

This year has brought a lot of changes and in some ways, been very difficult. But I'm so proud of getting that book done!

I even had the opportunity to become a contributing author to a second book, an anthology-type book and it just launched on Amazon today. So I got my name on TWO books this year! So exciting!

I wish you the best of luck with your books. Let us know how it goes.

      Michelle

I am planning on making making half a million dollars next year. Seems kinda hard but hey I did close to a 100k this year so what's stopping me from doing 500k next year? I guess I would just have to work 5 times harder lol

      Let's see how it goes

EDIT: Guys, I am not talking 100% profit. I always spend about 50% of my income back into my business but 250k is fine too lol

    1. It will find me grounded in one location and take a temporary reprieve from the travel addiction I normally have.
    2. I am all set to start a couple of my own projects -- an e-commerce store for my custom articles, probably the same store for my PLR articles ( or maybe another one).
    3. Ramp up my article writing business ( I find scaling up very difficult here)

Grape and mayonnaise sandwiches are really nice in brown bread provided you don't plaster the mayonnaise on. You're not the first person to suggest they're an oddity though, which is a bit of a mystery to me. They're only made from the same thing as fruit cake - flour, eggs... trainee sultanas...

              "from struggle to success"

              "from fruitcake to doorstop"

              You get the picture

Mmmm... flans are the way forward... All this IM stuff is just pie in the sky anyway (flim-flan, if you will).

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

I promised hubby I would be making $10K per month next year and unless I put my ebook writing prices up ten fold that is not going to happen. So I am determined to get my own products on the marketplace as well and build some residuals from there - I am also open to ideas because I love to multi-task - I also want to hold a huge seminar, just the once, in somewhere like New York - because we all have to dream too

Hi WF members who contributed on this thread, thanks especially to Dwayne Phelps for starting it.

My big plan for 2010 was to own a business. Thanks to God I achieved the goal. As well as some smaller goal I achieved. First I will dedicate a post mentioning all those goals I achieved.

Next I will set a new goal as well as some supporting goals. Mainly it will be growing my current business, increase sales, have to build my team bigger and look for some top tier clients.

    That's all for now!

Since I don't believe in waiting for the new year to start, I'm working on a plan I started a couple months ago and will continue working on it until I've successfully executed it.

One of my major goals for the coming months is to take all my domain names out of parking. Right now, the 10% of my names that are in developed sites are earning far more than the 90% that are parked. The plan doesn't include making all of them the most fabulous site on the internet for the niche, but to see if I can generate more revenue on my own, which will include tweaking and testing and data processing.

The plan includes doing the groundwork up front so when I'm ready to launch - I'm ready to launch. The sites I built before I really knew what I was doing have taken up a lot of my time, as I have had to go back and correct mistakes and just generally update them, but that phase of the plan is nearly complete. With the pre-launch blueprint in place, I hope to avoid similar issues in the future.

I'm just praying there are no server problems (a major hiccup in this year's plan), no major software upgrades that necessitate extensive revamping of the prelaunch blueprint, no legislative shenanigans to throw a monkey wrench into monetization plans, etc.

IOW, *I* have a firm plan and I am working the plan - it's outside forces that keep derailing it.

    My goals for 2011 include:

    - Building a list in a niche of my liking (not IM though)
    - Create a membership site for recurring payments to add stability to my IM income
    - Turn 18 and buy a car from the revenue I make.

Overall, I would like to build up my income and quit my part-time job.

My plan for 2011 is to not reveal my plan for 2012.

Then if we make it to December 22, 2012, I'm in big trouble. Every time my wife says she wants something spendy, I tell her she can have it on that date.

More than double my IM income over this year. I'm already taking steps, so I'm sure it will happen.

I don't know where to start. I have so many plants for 2011. I am going to build more auto-blogs, build sites with IPK (info product killer) strategies. Build more Squidoo lenses and break into ghostwritng.

My goal is to take the money I have made writing articles and use it to get my horse racing business started. I was supposed to do this last year but spent so much time paper testing my methods that I never actually used them. I am going to make it my number one goal this year to get it started. I am going to call my horse racing business "New Day Racing".
