Hey Bish or WillR, do you have an data related to the exit pop-ups? I know many IM Gurus use them, but I've wondered how effective they are at keeping or closing sales...

Also, at what point does this technique jump the shark and actually begin to work against sales because they are ubiquitous or tired?

I've nothing against and have used them even, just wondering about hard data.

I have a clickbank product that converts, although it could do better (improving at present). I only want to use a pop up as an exit splash to offer a trail offer. The potential customer only gets to see the exit splash when leaving, so if they're already going I don't think exit pop-ups are a problem.

I just came across a new one yesterday that looks pretty good and it's pretty cheap as well. For just $7 and the features it has, it may be worth a try. Kind of an odd name for the product, but he's got a reason. Here's the link:

You might want to look up Robert Plank's new exit pop in WSO section, for free, if you want to use just.

However, if you want to search for something that does more than just "exit pop" ,try Andy Feltcher's latest list building plugin, an exit pop option might be added into the plugin very soon. He usually upgrades promptly, for additional bells and whistles which his clients suggested.
