How Well Did Your First Ebook Do?

Hi Guys

I am having an ebook put together for clickbank and I wanted to know how well fellow warriors did when they sold their first ebook and how you promoted said book if you didn't have a list.

    First one did $5,000.

    Second one did $700.

    The one I released just 8 weeks ago has so far cleared $3500.

      My first one is still selling after six years at nearly $7,000/mo. What I did first was sell it directly from my website. Within weeks it really took off, so that's when I decided to promote it through affiliates on cb. My first affiliates were actually those who bought the ebook.

    You'll be able to sell your product for a MUCH higher price if you include additional media BESIDES just an e-book.

    People will pay more money for the EXACT same material delivered in a different format. If you ONLY do an e-book, you're missing huge potential to up-sell, or just price your product higher on the front-end.

    My 1st has done $3,588 and counting. I only ever sold it here as a WSO because I'm lazy and never put it out there for the rest of the world.

    I think it's important to find an audience, figure out what they're clamoring for, and write your ebook to solve some of those problems. It'll sell itself.

    I put mine out there a couple years ago and it's still doing well. In the process of getting a second one launched.

    Without a list, you'll need to sell your ebook on your website and then just start promoting your site using all the standard traffic methods. Of course, targeted traffic will always be best.

    The second eBook I put on Clickbank (which was actually the first eBook I did, but I didn't put the final touches on it until I finished my second eBook which was the first I put up for sale) does far, far better than the first eBook I put on Clickbank.

    Which is a bit depressing, considering I put far more effort into that first eBook I put up for sale.

    The first ebook pulled about $2200 in three days when I announced it to my list. That was 8-9 years ago and I've been selling it ever since. It's undergoing a major revision right now. It will be retitled and the old version put to rest and the old website repurposed.
