Same site different PR on Google Toolbar?

One of my sites has had a PR of 4 for quite a while. I have recently installed the Google toolbar onto my wife's laptop and the site shows PR 3 on her laptop and PR 4 on mine. So it is not the laptop as such it is that one includes the WWW and one does not.

Can anyone explain why the PR would be different with and without the www? on the same page.
