Should I launch a new blog all in one, or add bit at a time?

Hi all,

Trying out small niche blogs, and having some success, but I have a question -
If I am launching a new blog with a few articles, should I launch it with one article and then add the others one at a time, or should I wait until they are all done, then launch it?

Or does it not make much difference?

    I put up around 5 posts straight away.
    Then I post daily for 30 days. Constantly updating your website will be noticed by the search engines.

    I've been doing that for a number of years in several niches. If you have a few article now, don't wait; go ahead and launch your blog(s). I have hundreds of articles written for me each day for all of my niche blogs, and just let them drip for at most 3-5 articles a day per blog. If you try to submit too many articles all at once it may actually hurt your ranking.

    Put one (or a few) on there to start. Ping the pingomatic's of the world.

    Then drip a few at a time or one a day - the specific number of 3 for example isn't important IMHO, just show that it's active, so spread your posts out.

    If you are only using like 10 articles total, then put 1 or 2 on day one, the spread the remaining ones over the next x days.

    I'm also wondering about this. I was considering posting about 5-6 articles at once, and then queueing up a whole bunch to auto post once a week or so. Seems like that would be a better way to do in a lot of cases, like if you have a bunch of sites and do everything yourself, making it a hassle to manually tend to each. It'd also feel nice knowing you'll have a constant supply of fresh, unique content without even having to worry about it.

    Or, maybe if you're writing articles/posts on a subject that has a limited number of topics to write about and don't want to post them all at once and then have nothing to write about anymore.

    I guess if you're concerned about SEO, the question is how often is optimal to post to stay "fresh" in the eyes of Google. :confused:
