Limiting yourself to the Internet

I am bringing this up after reading a post that asked how long Internet marketing will last.

As absurd as the question is, most people do not realize that what they are learning is not "Internet marketing", it's "marketing".

Sure, the tools may be different, but if Al Gore decided to shut off the Internet tomorrow, I would be just fine using my knowledge in other mediums, like print, direct mail, TV, radio, etc.

Stop thinking inside the box so much!

    TRUE.

    It's MARKETING, applied using the Internet.

    One other important note...

    It's NOT Selling. It's Marketing.

    Selling MIGHT work a little, but marketing works a lot when done correctly.

    So, so true. In fact, in the coaching programs/classes I've participated in people who did offline and online marketing did far better in finding audiences of potential clients and JV partners.

      Where is this mysterious place you speak of that is not the internet? :confused:

      Next thing you'll be telling me is there are other forums online other than the warrior forum, and that mmo is not the only niche.

        For thousands of years before "online marketing" there was "offline marketing", but they didn't know it was offline. Only the online marketers think of offline marketing as something new. :confused:
