Any Experience With freelancehomewriters.com

I am always looking for extra ways to make money at home with writing. I got an email with a link to freelancehomewriters.com.

Anyone know or have any experience with this?

No sorry. However if you got the email without requesting it I'd trash it personally as amyone spamming me obviously has no morals.

I have no experience with them, except the 1 minute I just spent on their site...

Here's my view... it's not a 'professional company' I guess you would call it...

It clearly puts marketing above the product/service itself... All I saw was that I could make a lot of money if I sign up with them... not how exactly, but how much...

Then I went to leave the site and it gave me a 'no... wait please don't leave,' deals, which in my opinion, is very tacky, confusing, new age form of the hated popup window...

It's weird though... when I am at someones personal website that I know or have heard of, these forms of capturing my email address doesn't quite bother me, rather I expect to see them if I am visiting any marketer's website.

Anyhoo... If you want to write content and actually get paid...I would try this highly respected website: Associated Content

    Apply at demandstudios.com and textbroker.com

Both of these sites, if they accept your application, will pay you to write articles. Demand Studios pays a little more. Good luck!

Yep. I have DemandStudios on that list I mentioned before. I have a friend who does between 15 to 20 articles/week for them at $15/article and is testing out being a "Title Editor" for them.

By the way when I said FreelanceHomeWriters could be worth $27...I mean $27 ONE-TIME - no monthly.

I hadn't heard of textbroker. Has anyone done any work for them?

AssociatedContent is OK - but you won't make nearly the money you would with DemandStudios.

You might also try wiseGEEK. They pay around $10 per article. Here is the info from their site:

From time to time, wiseGEEK seeks out additional freelance writers to regularly contribute to wiseGEEK. If you're interested, you can send some writing samples (in the body of your email, not as an attachment) to catherine [at] wisegeek -dot- com. Writing samples don't have to be similar in format and style as wiseGEEK articles, although they are preferred. If the samples are something we're looking for we'll get back to you with more details about the job and let you know your next steps.

I've written for Textbroker. At first they don't pay much, but very quickly they upgrade you to better pay, as long as you prove that you write well. Even then the pay is so-so, but when I have extra time I have no problem dashing off an article for them. They are responsive to any problems you might have, and though they only pay once a month, they pay reliably.

They and Demand Studios are great for filling in gaps between gigs.
