No buddy, I had a product at clickbank with over 900:5 conversion rate when I was just starting out. You may need to tweak something.

Are you an affiliate, or a vendor?

Either way, clearly something is very seriously wrong here.

(As earlier, similar conversations have shown, many people who reply may misunderstand what you've said and confuse it with "conversion rates", or with order form impressions.)

All you can do is contact Clickbank by opening a help ticket. But be aware (if you're not already) that the underlying starting-point for their customer service is one of "Nothing is ever our fault" and it'll be very difficult - maybe impossible - to get them to acknowledge that there's clearly a problem here.

They characteristically start, when they eventually reply, with a pasted-in reply telling you about the normal occasional difficulties with credit-cards, and so on, which clearly have nothing to do with your problem.

At some point, it it continues, you have to decide whether to open a new account and change all your links. Enormously inconvenient, of course, but many people (including some of my own clients) report that it can fully resolve this problem.

Couple things I would do ASAP.

1. Sign up for click tale - http://www.clicktale.com/

You can record actual video of what buyers are doing meaning their actual mouse movments, ect. Try and see what is actually happening.

2. Add some kind of survey exit pop and ask why they are leaving the page. Ask why they are not ordering and maybe maybe also ask what would have made them order. If you can incentvize this in some way even better. Perhaps tell them by filling out the survey they will be entered in a monthly drawing for a $100 amazon gift card or something. (obviously do the contest and deliver the gift card)

It seems there is sometype of disconnect between your order page and website. I remeber a warrior who improved his actual sell through by making his sales template match the click bank order form by using simlar colors and fonts. Makes sense but I never tested the idea my self.

Sounds like spyware to me. I'm not saying that you condone spyware, but I personally wouldn't want anyone tracking my mouse clicks. That is my business.

Maybe you misunderstand what they do.

Example - You come to my website, I have clicktale installed on my website. (it doesnt install anything on your computer). While at my website click tale makes a movie of how you interact with my webpages (like a step up from heatmaps). I can then watch these movies of your interactions on my web site to see if perhaps my web layout is confusing you or something on my site is causing you to leave.

Thats all it does. Also the movies it records are anonymous, no real data is captured about you personally.

Thanks for the advice.

Clicktale looks very interesting! Can I use it with the Clickbank order form?

I forgot to mention that I promote products in spanish, and that people from latin america are not used to buy from the internet. I do get plenty of emails of people telling me that they can't buy so I tell them to use Paypal instead.

Here are the country stats from another spanish product I'm promoting:

USA:

Submit count: 117
Sales: 81
Rate: 69%

SPAIN:

Submit count: 429
Sales: 205
Rate: 47%

LATIN AMERICA:

Submit count: 2195
Sales: 316
Rate: 14%

I think it's a problem with latin america and the credit/debit cards.

Ahh my bad, I forget you don;t control the order form with CB. My first thought was you could maybe put the CB order page in a iframe and record it that way but dont think that will work. I wonder if CB would allow you to put click tale code on your order pages. Worth asking.

They won't. You can't see what's happening at CB with Clicktale. The javascript must be present on the page it's viewing.
