where else do you find writers & outsource & freelancers?

On Odesk I can easily have 100 bidding for work within 24 hours. Once I have some basic filtering in place, I can narrow it down to some good candidates. I can also go find candidates on Odesk rather than waiting for them to come to me (better quality often this way).

i've heard of digital point but how do you find writers there? is there a place to advertise or place related to work for hire?

Odesk, Freelancer and Guru. These are reliable sites for freelancers and outsource. I have discovered great writers in Odesk and they're really good. I have been outsourcing in the site also and I found it very helpful. Best of luck!

I can't believe nobody mentioned OnlineJobs.ph yet.

It is better than best jobs.ph and it is where I hire practically everyone now, even some freelancers when I don't need a full timer. For example the guy that does all my graphics and Thesis theme customization. Only need him sometimes and found him thru an ad I put up on that site.

I hire people for 250 to 400 approx per month full time.

BPOVIA hasn't been mentioned...I use them for graphics, basic word processing tasks, web design, web maintenance, etc...I get 20 hours for $200 a month.

Guru and oDesk (especially oDesk) are also great sources for writers, graphics, research, and the like but you spend more time in the hiring and negotiation process.

This is exactly why you should hire people full time to work in your business. I can hire a web maintenance person for 250 per month full time. I can hire smart people who want a job and are trainable. No hassle of negotiating aside from the initial interview process.
