It's a teaser site that seems to be telling consumers:

"Ha HA, if you're gullible enough to fall for this one, you had better surf with care"

FatFoe Eggplant Extract - Fat Blocker
Glucobate

  • You would think they could get a modern designer for these "parody" sites....these look like they were made in about 2002.

    • Good eye.

Some FTC references to these ads date back at least to 2005, the domain was acquired in 2001.

I suppose they don't do much conversion optimizing.
  • Hey! They promote us to use their banner ads for fake sites! That's kind of an oxymoron is it not? LOL
  • 'Nuf said.
  • Here's what I don't get - I just saw an infomercial for that Sensa diet powder stuff. A blatant Free Trial ---> Neverending Rebill. I thought this kind of stuff wasn't allowed anymore?

    • Promoting Sensa has been a pain for me. I promoted via CJ and they gave me credit for my leads and then took them away. When I questioned them, they terminated their relationship with me. I guess it serves me right for dealing with such a company. I thought they were legit because CJ allowed them in their network. Live and learn.
