Does any software do THIS?

Let's say I want to make an affiliate product for a product I have already created and am currently selling in 1shopping cart or clickbank..

Is there a software that will give people their own custom subdomain when they join my affiliate program instead of just an affiliate link?

Example: MyProduct.com/NameTheyChoose

If anyone knows how to do this that would be awesome!

Thanks

    Dave,

I'm interested to learn the answer too.

A small clarification: a subdomain goes before the domain itself:

    Subdomain.Domain.com

    In your example:

    NameTheyChoose.MyProduct.com

    - Darrel

Rapid Action Profits can do it where tehy sign up as an affiliate and choose a "nickname" which is linked to their paypal email.

It's domain.com/e=?Nickname (that e=? might be slightly in a different order I can't remember exactly)

    That's the best I've seen.

    Cheers,

    Brad

I'm not sure of an affiliate program with that built in, the best I've seen is like the above poster said mysite.com/?a=affiliate. Depends how many affiliates you are talking about though? If you only want to set this up for a few of your big affiliates then just create a few different subfolders on your domain using their preferred name such as mysite.com/john or mysite.com/frank and load their affiliate link as a redirect in the index.html page of those sub-folders.

Just curious, why do you want this feature? Is it mainly for looks?

I'm in a niche that has nothing to do with IM.

So since my list isn't internet savvy I want them to have an easy to use link and call it refer a friend program instead of affilaite program.

Then have a separate program for affiliates and JV's where they can get tracking codes etc but that seems to be inculded in every aff program I've seen.

This way it motivates my customers to refer on FB etc and go viral and the affiliate still have all the tools they want on a separate page.

        Understandable.

There are some simple/cheap scripts out there that will allow you to set things up so all the affiliates need to do is add their Paypal email at the end of the link and they will get commissions sent to their Paypal.

The only problem is the ugly links with email addresses in them.

I just had a look at iDevAffiliate - Affiliate Program Software because I know a lot of other people in other niches use this for their affiliate programs. It says on the homepage there under the heading 'Built In Affiliate Marketing'..."Custom keyword link creation by affiliates."

I'm not sure what that means exactly but sounds like they may be able to create custom affiliate links for themselves. You may want to email them and tell them what you are after.

I have used that affiliate software as an affiliate for a few products and it's very easy to use and understand. But I've never had the need to create custom links so I'm not sure if that's possible.

Thanks. I'm checking it out right now. Trying to find a definition of what "Custom keyword link creation by affiliates." means on there.

This is off the top of my head but it might work for someone using WP and s2member...

when a person purchases a membership via paypal and s2member they are redirected back to your WP site after purchase to create their account.

If your site is setup for multiuser, the option to register and create a blog should be available.

It's not exactly what you were asking but it's something that might work. It's theoretical, like the warp drive and time travel.
