Well I did find some information about this, but still have a few unanswered questions. Ok so first of all since 2 days I started back with affiliate marketing. A few months ago I used this account, also for affiliate marketing, I had my checks and since a few months I am also able to get direct deposits. (BUT I haven't used my account for a few months).

Now I am sending quite some traffic via my hop links and getting a nice ORDER FORM SUBMIT count in just 2 days, BUT I didn't make ANY sales... (To be precise, my order form submit count is 18, and not ANY sale) My order form impression is 116...

I read that it might be something to do with my account, although I never changed something..

These are stats from yesterday and 2 days ago, so might it be that it takes a while to transfer? Or that it takes a while to show up as a sale? Or is this just something completely f*cked up. (If yes, then clickbank just cost me around 600$)

All help / info appreciated,

Kind regards,
Kevin

    1. Some people on this forum will tell you that it happens to accounts every now and then - especially those that have been dormant for some time. If this is the case you may want to signup for a new account - it won't cost you anything if you are just using it as an affiliate. At least you will know one way or the other.

    2. Order form submits are not guarantees of sales - they are just that. Order form submits. If people have submitted invalid credit card information OR their payment method did not have sufficient funds then those submits will not result in a sale, obviously. It may sound a little weird to you that after 18 order form submits you have not made a sale - but stranger things have happened. And I've seen statistics thrown about this forum that are even worse than that.

I guess the only way to be sure would be to buy the product yourself using your affiliate link. If that sale still doesn't register then yes, something weird is going on.

    Ok thanks for the info.
I already made another account, but it's just that I first have to receive checks again and where I live it cost a lot before you actually get to see some money from these checks.

I'm giving it one more day, if I get over 30 form submits & 0 sales then I will have to change accounts.

Normally when a sale is made, it shows it directly in the sale count, right?
It's not that I will see those sales after the weekend or something?

    Kind regards,
    Kevin

No, you should be seeing those stats pretty quickly, at least by now.

    Yea that's what I thought...
Would clickbank really steal from their clients like that?
Or is there an actual reason?

    Corruption is everywhere goddamned

Well, i was away from affiliate marketing for over a year so, i had the same situation like you then when i came back i did make some sales and it was shown in my stats at the same moment.
So, the only cause for your problem is simple : You didn't make any sales!!

Could this also be the cause of the product I am promoting? It says it has only 199 spots (Massive passive profits). Ofcourse this is probably just a strategy to get more sales, but I mean what IF they took the product down? Or is this most unlikely ?

How do you explain 18 order-form submits without a sale that way, Sayed? Did you actually read the OP at all, before replying?! Or did you just assume wrongly that it was "another complaint about poor conversion rates"?!

Clearly it would be highly abnormal (though not necessarily impossible) to have 18 consecutive problems with customers' credit-cards.

This is the third thread on this exact subject in the last week or so.

There are problems at Clickbank, once again, it seems.

      I think not.

      There's no proof, either way.

My belief - without evidence - is that some money for some sales is actually going to the vendor rather than to the affiliate, not being stolen by Clickbank.

Their customer service, attitude and behaviour is so disgracefully bad that I do completely understand people wondering whether they're stealing, but my own guess is still that they're not, and I've never seen any evidence at all that they might be, and I don't think this is evidence that they might be. I think this is incompetence, not dishonesty.

I have also seen two or three threads with the same problem. There must be something wrong otherwise you cant expect 18 order submissions converting into no sales.

Have anyone tried to contact Clickbank yet? We have over dozen clickbank account for our company, I will just check'em out & if any of them have this problem, I will surely get you all an update from Clickbank.

Hope everything is well over at Clickbank system.

P.S. Its impossible that they would steal anything from their clients & its also not possible that sales goes directly to vendor (SORRY Alexa I didnt agree with you here but everywhere else )

        Regards

Yesterday I opened a help ticket at clickbank.
I hope I'll get a reply tomorrow, if not tuesday.

But hearing that they have a bad support, my hopes aren't too high on getting any money after all, even if something did go wrong.

I'll keep this thread updated tho, & I'd like to see other people doing the same here, so we can find out the cause of this problem (cause I am clearly not the only one).

About the time of this thread I was buying a product on clickbank and having problems processing payment. Each time payment was denied with some type of clickbank error code, but each time it returned to the payment page it counted as an additional order form submit. (I know because I was buying through my own aff id)

If I hadn't of tried half an hour later I would never have completed the purchase.

In this particular instance - definitely clickbank incompetence.

I think in general Clickbank have a lot of issues with their system lately. Especially since the 'famous' upgrade they did where noone could log for 24 hours. At that time I could notice ratio of 1:4, 1:5 of sales vs. order forms submit. I think usual ratio is 1:1.5 or 1:2. Anyway, CB will never recognize that the problem is in their system, so all you have to do is wait and hope that they will fix the issues they have as soon as possible.
