ClickBank Hoplink question...

INTERNET MARKETING

I always get confused on this.

On one of my accounts, let's say it's called wahtruths - I set up a few products for a special JV partner that I don't want public. Let's say his affiliate name is hotpants (it's not LOL).

So what would the hoplink look like if the product # is 31?

I wish it just had a button for us to click like in the marketplace - for we tech idiots, that is...

It would be like...

hotpants.yourcbname.hop.clickbank.net

Hmm where the product number would go in there confuses me.

You could do it like this, but that would link to the merchant page..

Well I thought it worked. I'm all screwed up.

I set this up in dlg. I linked it to CB. In DLG the validation key I used was
my "secret key" from my clickbank account.

It's not working. Says CB validation error.

I DESPISE being a tech dummy. HATE it.

  What kind of validation error are getting? I have never seen a problem. Use this format:
  
  prodnumber.affiliate_vendor.pay.clickbank.net
  
  Where prodnumber is your product number
  Affiliate is the Clickbank ID
  Vendor is the Vendor ID
  
  I use this all the time for all affiliate Clickbank products I promote, because I just hate the crappy sales pages. We rewrite all the sales pages ourselves and make the conversions go through the roof!

No your code is working properly. It goes through and shows the affiliate fine. I even get to click through and say. I think I messed up somewhere in the setup. I just can't figure out where yet. LOL

After paying, it says "ClickBank validation error." Instead of sending them to a download page.
