Convert Articles to Videos?

Does anyone know if there is any software out to convert articles to videos?

I realize there is article post robot, and you could also do a PP presentation with camtasia.

But --- any special downloadable software that does the trick?

I have used a few of the them out there and really can't recommend them. At first I thought they were pretty cool but sometimes your article might use a word that the program doesn't say properly. Also, even after it's converted it takes a bit for you to get everything you want it to be. At least it did for me. But maybe that's because I'm into the arts so I wanted it to be as good as possible visually as well.

Video is now more important than SEO work. My suggestion? Kick on some lights like you are outside, where some amazing shades, and record yourself actually speaking out your article.

People do business with people they can trust and until you are comfortable being in front of the webcam/camera, this is a great, easy, fun, and effective way to brand yourself to your target audience. The more they see you being yourself and sharing your passion they more they will connect with you and want more of what you have to share.

Don't worry it's not some sales video, or affiliate video

    Hope it helps

Article Video Robot was one that I tested out. It's pretty good but if you are going to do videos you might as well brand yourself, be yourself, and get in front of a camera and go for it.

Maybe I'm just being picky but I'd be more involved (by that I mean attentive) if someone's actual voice was speaking and not a robot version of themselves, no matter how cool the accent was.

I second this recommendation. All of the software by Incansoft and Big Mike are greatly helpful in making an online marketer successful if used correctly.

Although the code BRIAN doesn't seem to be working on the GFX Video Writer, it is still a steal at any price.

My only gripe about some of the videos these days is that the quality is getting so much better at the expense of consuming so much bandwidth.
For a really high quality video image then I expect the content of the video to be of high quality. I am peeved when the content does not justify taking up so much bandwidth. If the video is primarily text then I would hope producers of these videos will not over do the the quality and don't go for HD when ordinary low resolution video will do.

I just wanna answer the headline title.

Yeah you can convert your articles into video. The best part would be
      PLR or private label rights.

That way you can promote it and put your website watermark.

You can use a powerpoint or any screen capture software and record your voice while reading your PLR. And add some pictures.

If you use a free pictures, try search free royalty pictures too and add it to your video.

PLR turned into video does help with SEO as very few people are doing this compared to the infinite number of keyword/keyphrase possibilities. So if you're doing it you are a rare bird much moreso than one would imagine.

And if you include a few pictures that relate to the words in the article you can also make the article a little bit more user friendly as far as watching it.

Below is a test video I made as a creative experiment using some canned motion background clips as the vehicle for the article to be adapted to video.

The video is long, and I certainly don't recommend being glued to the whole thing, but if you want to see just one more way somebody has tried converting an article to video you can check this one out.

It's an early attempt using a single read through produced in Camtasia with only a few clip art images and callouts along with the canned motion graphic. That makes it incredibly simple to do if you have Camtasia.

It won't win any awards, and I've also done this in a different colored background that looked better, but these things will rank for keywords...

You are wasting your time with most software solutions. There is no point creating all these videos and posting them to the video sites if no one is ever going to watch more than 5 seconds of the video.

Do it properly or don't do it at all.

All these software programs utilize some form of automated voice which is the last thing you want to be using as the spokesperson for your business. If I came across a video with a computer generated voice I would think:

    a) They are trying to hide something. They are not willing to use their own voice in this video so they must be trying to keep their identity private.

    b) They couldn't even take a few minutes to record their own voice for this video. This leads me to draw the conclusion that their customer service/support is also going to be lacking.

    c) and so on and so on

People can, and will, draw whatever conclusions they like. If you are using videos to promote your business then these videos will be the first point of contact a potential customer has with your business. And you want to start off your relationship using a cheap computer generated voice? What sort of message is that sending to your customers?!

And to those who genuinely think you can't tell it's a computer generated voice - give me a break. We are not stupid. I can pick them out a mile away and so could most people.

Seriously, it takes only 1 minute to import an article into Powerpoint as properly formatted slides. And it would take you about 2 mins to then narrate and record that article with Camtasia. If you don't have 5 mins to spend making a PROPER video (that's 6 an hour you could be making) then you can't be too serious about your article marketing efforts. You will get much better results from a smaller number of quality videos that you will from a whole heap of computer generated crap.

Video marketing will become and is already becoming more important than article marketing, backlinks, and SEO work.

I completely agree. Get in front of the camera and record yourself talking about your expertise and passion or do some screen shots and play with it until you are satisfied.

You are your brand; not what you have in your hand.

People do business with people they trust so let them see why they should trust you.

As often in the past, I seem to detect two distinct trends in this thread. One addresses article marketing+video marketing for trafffic and the other one addresses the role of video on SEO.

Looking at the original question by the OP, I have no idea which one is being asked. So here goes.

If you are talking about SEO, I would not case whether it is Article Marketing Robot or some such tool transfering the article into video. It is the backlink that will metter.

If you are talking about marketing (which will also take care of your backlink if you insert a link to your site, although SEO would be much more about scale while video marketing would be much more about quality) then I agree with what some other have said - if possible, do a recording yourself to get the best of quality.

Converting Articles to Video is really easy. You can use open office for the slides and either Jing (Pro so you can upload to Youtube). Run your slide show and record whilst reading out the text.
Alternatively you can use open office and convert the slides to jpegs, then use Windows movie maker to add the voice over.

If you don't want to speak you can always use a free music background.

Here is an example using the music background. This was created from a PLR article and in this case I used free stock Video footage, open office and Camtasia to record the screen and produce the Video

Well, there are many but it really depends on the output that you're looking for. Some software still requires quite a lot of touch up to convert to proper video.

I do it manually because people won't click your link in the description box if video is crappy, which is the result from auto programs most of the time.

I agree. The key to maintaining interest is to keep the slides varied. Don't just have the same text layout in every slide. Vary the layout - have graphics, pictures, graphs and charts, or screen-captures of websites where necessary. Have shots of yourself speaking to camera by all means, but make sure the image is well lit and there is a decent background. Webcam footage of someone speaking with a headset microphone just doesn't cut it these days.

If you're interested, I can provide this sort of service. See my sig for more details, or PM me.

I would go with a service rather than software, as its probably more dependable.

Another thing you can do is get your best content, create a powerpoint slide, have someone @ fiverr.com turn it into a video (if you can't do it yourself) and then do the voice over (or you can outsource that as well) and you can even add some cool royalty free music softly in the background for a more multi-media experience.

There are alternatives to you having to do it all yourself even if it might cost a bit.

So if you have to go the outsourcing route just make sure it's the best you have then post that sucker everywhere.

There are a few like cnet's article to video converter or you can go to articles2videos website.

They use some sort of an automated voice which can be a turn off to most customers. So even with these software I still suggest that you get in front of the camera and record yourself.

A slide-show of text with some cool effects, quiet backing music and good images can still be very effective if you get it right.

If you aren't confident enough to get in-front of a camera yourself or speak over your text, check out fivver or freelancer- you can find lots of people who'll do you a voice-over or a video cheap

    I'm with chi town rock.

Think there's a big advantage of seeing the person on camera before and after the slides just to break it up.

Keeping peoples attention is all about breaking up the rhythmn, giving them a jolt, adding music or changing pace.

I've seen a few courses that are back to back powerpoint and it kind of gets dull.

I also think you should mix in an unexpected video to break the sequence. For example
if you were doing a module about keyword research how about for fun going on the street and asking people what words they look for the most on the web and edit the answers together as a vox pop montage. It would be funny and add an edge.
