Any Hosting Ideas

I am currently looking for another host. I have been using dream host for the past few years now. However I am looking o expend my site base before the end of the year. Now I do have about 10 sites being hosted at dreamhost at the moment. But I am looking to add another hosting package. Just in case something goes wrong at one host so I can have a near zero% downtime.

I recently looked at fatcow and just host. They look ok to me but as those of you who know me I do not buy anything with out knowing what I am buying fully first. Research never hurts anyone. I am not a fan of godaddy hosting. I also know alot of you will be saying hostgator. But I just want your guys/gals ideas on a solid host I could use to help me expand to the 50+ sites I plan to have by the end of next year.

    While I also have you here anyone know of any domain codes for godaddy. I have a new site I would like to get and have not yet bought the domain. It is a site that should do really well for me this spring-fall.

        I said nothing is wrong with host gator. I just want a few other ideas then that so I can see what they have to offer before I make my choice on a new host. Since I do have to live with them for atleast a year or more.

            Hostmonster and Hostgator are both solid host with good customer service. If you're looking for a second or even if you're new, they are among the best in the business.

    If you have 50 + sites its always a good idea to host them on different c class IPs. The best providers of different C class IPs are :

    SEO Hosting or C Class IP Hosting
    :::: BHW Hosting ::::
    SEO Hosting - SEO Web Hosting with cPanel and Multiple Class C IP Addresses

      If you are serious about your hosting, look into Liquidweb. Their support can't be beat. Try calling them at 3am in the morning when you screw up (like I usually do on a weekly basis) and you will see that they are the best...

    What a coincidence i have accounts on fatcow and justhost, i can tell from my fatcow experience is that they have a very good staff , if you have any kind of problem, you can call them asking for help.

    Justhost is verygood too, i havent had problem with it yet .

    Have you considered D9 Hosting? I've been with them for 2 years and never had any issues. Their support is excellent and they'll transfer your sites free of charge.

    Hosting to an extent is a commodity, meaning almost any
    reputable host will provide about the same features and
    level of service for the money. The law of equilibrium forces
    this to happen in any marketplace.

    Many sell large packages, with lots of features... counting
    on you not using most of them or you not using a
    disproportionate amount of server resources. If you do
    exceed the norm or some acceptable level, you are asked
    to get dedicated hosting.

    I've used http://NicheSimple.com for the past 2 years
    as I went on a website and mini-net building rampage. I
    was one of those users who tends to use a lot of server
    resources, which is why I have been asked several times
    by several hosts to kindly move to dedicated servers

    I liked Niche Simple enough that I bought the company
    last week. Maybe I'll buy Hostgator next :-)

    With 10+ sites you probably need to take VPS in consideration, since you may have issues such as high load or resource overusage with shared hosting model

    HostGator are a very popular host among Warriors, it seems. Cheap(ish), great service, and very good customer support.

    Superb Internet are another host I've used in the past (albeit for dedicated servers - not shared hosting), and have a marvelous infrastructure, and phenomenal customer support.

    United Hosting I've also used and can wholeheartedly recommend. They're based in the UK, but have servers in the US too, and give you a choice between the two locations. Again, they boast impeccable customer service, although they're by no means the cheapest around.

    EDIT: Oh, another recommendation: Web Intellects. Have used these for a VPS in the past, and they were also a pleasure to do business with.

    Hello,

    Although your not a fan of GoDaddy, I Would still recommend their service. I got their biggest hosting plan and got more than 50+ sites running already. I never have experienced any downtime plus every error that occurred with GoDaddy was by my own hand. I am curious why you don't get that hosting account because I can't seem to find any reasons at my side that discredits GoDaddy.
