How to send out a 7 day e-course in Aweber

I have an email set up to send over a period of 7 days to my subscribers. Should I just send them out one day after the other over 7 days, or is it better to send this 7-part course only on certain days of the week?

The reason I ask is that I know people respond better say mid-week to emails and I am just wondering if it would be a waste for a subscriber to receive a mail on a Sat, Sun and then Mon when these may not be the best days for people to open them.

How would you send out a seven day e-course just one after the other regardless of the days? Any advice appreciated. Cheers.

To the best of my knowledge, if you are setting this up in Aweber, then either you will have to set up the dates specifically on when to send out the emails, which woud mean you only have people signing up within a certain time frame and after that time is up, no one will get any emails.

Or you will need to set this up so that the emails are spaced a certain number of days apart. This way your email sequence can keep going no matter when your prospects sign up they will get email number one and then email number two a certain number of days later and email number three a certain number of days later.

And this means that depending on when people sign up for your course they may get some emails on the weekend days.

If there is a way to set this up, and skip the weekend days, I do not know what it is and would like to know about that.

The other thing is that just because you have a 7 day e-course, it does not mean that you can't send the emails at different intervals of days. So that there might be 1 day un between email number 1 and email number 2 and then 2 days go by before they get email number 3.

I think if you're promoting/offering it as a "7-day e-course" you don't really have much choice. How else would you get it into 7 days? For myself, in principle I'd rather promote a 2-week e-course with 7 emails on alternate days, making it clear that that's the format, or in any case something a little less rushed than an email per day for 7 days (which might be a bit much for some people?).

I agree with Alexa, I believe this the right way to do it. Every two days for two weeks is a good pace, and if your course is filled with compelling info they will be looking forward to your emails no matter what day of the week they come in. They may not check Sunday's email until Monday evening, but as long as they're opening them...
        Just my two cents, thanks!

If they like you and the like your emails ... then it's probably not going to matter what days you send them anyway.

Personally I always look at the 'sender' before the subject line and there are some guys I look forward to reading their email and will go through any that I've not got around to opening yet.

I like to stretch them out to ever 2-3 days like others have been saying. That gives the subscribers enough time to take it, catch up on days they miss, and gives you "open" days to send an extra email if you want without having to double up on certain days.
