    Hi WebSlicers,

The main difference is that an article is a stand alone piece of writing, usually covering a single topic in somewhat thorough way. A blog is a regularly updated collection of articles, thoughts, or links to other's posts/articles.

A blog also allows you to place many different things on it, whereas articles are normally (not always) submitted to article difrectories that have terms of service you must follow.

In short a blog can be anything you want it to be, and articles have to fit a more rigid set of guidelines.

Either can be just as profitable, though a blog has more options for direct monetization.

You can write articles for a blog, but you can't write a blog for an article.

    Hope that makes sense.

    All the best,
    Michael

@TIGER: Thank you. Good to know you're making money on both.

@MICHAEL: I see. Much clearer to me now. Thank you.
