Craigslist adds getting ghosted. Just one different add a day for a different product, all ghosted.

I post a new add for a different product everyday and they are al ghosted.

(Ghosted = You account says its posted, the link will show you the post, but if you actually search for what you post it will not be show.)

Anybody have any experience with this?

I am posting electronics in boston craigslist.

I notice the filters are tighter recently, but I still see its flooded with Chinese Electronics Spam Western Money Gram scams listings.

    There are people on CL who literally make it a hobby of theirs to randomly report ad's/have them "ghosted". Literally little d-bags that will group together and see how many ads they can get removed.

    There was another thread about this the other day. Ghosting and flagging are two separate issues. Flagging happens when the users of CL think your content is inappropriate, for whatever reason. Yes, there are CL nazis who have nothing better to do than flag others ads.

    Ghosting usually happens on CL when they are going through internal changes to the way the site is used/run. A whole lot of ghosting happened a few years ago when CL began requiring accounts to have phone verifications. Recently, they discontinued erotic services in the US and just a few weeks ago it was reported on the news they were discontinuing them in internationally. These types of changes in service have historically resulted in ghosting of other ads on CL. Ghosting usually has a way of disappearing as CL gets their new systems working properly.

    In the meantime there are other classified sources. Thankfully!
