Creating your own product could = massive profits

I'm just reflecting back on my years as an internet marketer. I've made good money. Mostly bla*k hat tactics though. I'm now trying to convert to white hat because the bla^k hat money doesn't last.

Just thinking back, the most money I've ever made came from a product I created. The ebook sold for a whopping $350 back in 2008. I sold it on another forum. The method is dead now. The sales had a cap on it. I was told to only sell it to 25-30 people but I ended up selling to about 50 people all from one forum. I earned nearly $20,000 in January of 2008. I know the money is out there....but, as far as product creation, it's tough for me to keep coming up with fresh ideas,

Just thinking a bit, I don't even believe I have to come up with anything new. Almost every product I've bought lately has been something that's been rehashed. The creator has just put his own spin on it and put it into his own words and repackaged it.

I just want to know....how do you guys keep creating new products?

If had known in 2008 that I could JV with someone who had a massive list, I could imagine where i'd be right now.
