Network with the big dawgs. Study them. Use similar techniques but put your individual twist on these successful ideas.

Persist like heck. Never throw in the towel. If you have a strong enough desire to succeed you will eventually attract all the tools to become successful.

I used to get up at 7, try to get started, couldn't focus, had no energy.
Then I started waking up at 7, putting on a pot of coffee, taking a shower while coffee makes.
I come out awake and refreshed, hit the coffee and can get 10 - 25 articles a day out now, either for me or for sale.
Before Coffee - $200 a month
After Coffee - $400 - $800 a month

I do a similar thing with tea, (shower before).

You feel fresh, and ready to work, after the shower, and after the tea.

Infact i think that Im going to include this in my 77 tip reports.

Find one method of making money online and stick to it for at least 3 months. Do everything you can to make it work. Build quality back links to your site each day and soon you will get ranked in Google.

Hi what you mention here are some personal improvements, we all like to do that. Such as I now go to bed early while I used to stay late and work till 3-4am. I now make 3-4 times more money.

There are whole lot of things like the way we deal with people and so much more. We improve everyday!

Pretty much the same here. I get up early and try to bring out as much positive energy as I can whilst working.

One of the best tips I ever got was to start every project like it was my first one. Try it and see for yourself

I drink both coffee and tea, depending on the time of day. I need a little bit of a 'kick' to get started, so I typically have two cups of strong French roast coffee (black, no sugar) to get me going in the morning.

Ever since I started my coffee drinking ritual in the morning, I've managed to get a lot more done, as I'm really not a morning person at all and without some coffee, I'm pretty sluggish.

I keep the momentum going in the afternoon and evening with various combinations of black and green tea, depending on what I feel like drinking for the day. Tea gives me that sustained yet mellow energy which allows me to focus well and be very productive, especially in the evenings.

When I first started online I was sitting in front of the computer all day like a nut. Well doing that begin to have an effect on my health. Having been in sales and marketing all my life I was accustomed to moving around most of the time.

After many years as a sales trainer and manager I got in this business. Now, I work in chunks. Tried working in chunks of 45 minutes at a time. But as I studied the brain a little more I found that 30 minutes at a time works best for me.

But keep in mind that you must learn to disconnect effort from value. If you can deliver value to your customers it doesn’t matter how you go about it. If you can write a sales letter in five hours and get paid 10,000 dollars and the customer is happy with the value that he or she paid for, nothing else matters.

You can always get on the WF and say that you are killing yourself working day and night!

Not a big secret, but creating niche infoproducts that people need/want, getting it in front of them, and knowing how to write killer sales copy to make them buy. Then, do a simple upsell for a highly related product to boost income. But DON'T do upsell after upsell after upsell.

If your campaign is to succeed it must be aimed at the right people. That is people that are willing and able to respond. In other words they have a need or want for your product or service and the money and authority to buy it. You need to know exactly who you are after and make sure the promotional medium you use is correct.We should mainly promote to the right audience.

My secret is to stick to ONE THING at a time and take Massive Action. Also, it is better to think long-term and build a real business online. Last, but, not the least, be patient and persistent. It takes time to get the ball rolling.

The secret is, there are no secrets. There is only what you know and what you don't know. If you want to call what you don't know a secret, then keep improving your knowledge and you'll keep discovering secrets. It's not really a secret though ... the information is out there.

Having said that, you have to apply what you know or it does you no good to know it. So many fail because they never really do anything. They keep looking for the perfect plan, wanting to plug every leak and tie every loose string, that they never give themselves a chance.

You can read all you want, but it isn't yours until you use it. Too many people are so afraid of failure that they fail to do anything. Failure is just an outcome, it isn't who you are. Make a freaking plan, take action, and learn and adapt as you go.

The only failure is lacking the will to get started ... that's the secret.

There is no secret in marketing, especially in Internet Marketing. As, everything is available completely on internet. But the way you do it is what makes the difference. I do a lot of SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, blogging, content writing and brand building. Where I have mentioned the techniques on the priority wise of revenue.

I have found that the thing that most helped me is "never give up"
you can step back for a while and cool down, then get back on the wagon, but never give up. Always look for ways that will work. If one way is not "doing it for you", then you have to find another way around the problem.

Keep in the mind set that you want to HELP people solve their problems, not add to them.

I set my goals and WANT achieve my goals and put a lot of energy in every thing i do.
I always do a killer niche and keyword research. I always improve these two important skills.
Keyword research helps me to determine if there is demand for potential niches.
I want understand WHAT people want to buy.
Another thing i do is learning how to use marketing tools for my business.
When i write my sales letters i always UNDER promise and OVER deliver!

I believe that the biggest secret for achieving success online is a smart combination based on:

* Promoting very demanded products

* Finding a niche with hungry buyers

* Implementing smart marketing strategies

If you'll promote products that are not demanded and if you know nothing about internet marketing, no matter if you wake up and drink a thousand cups of coffee, if you have a shower, if you write a million articles, if you are helpful, if you listen to Mozart, to Chopin, or whatever, you won't sell anything.

I agree with many of the comments. My Personal Strategy is to Use all the automation i can (when possible), but without splogs or autoblogs that are based on duplicate content.

For example, I prefer to go for tools like IAW or Smart Article Generator, create wheels with SeNuke and add backlinks using SickSubmitter. Just my 2 cents.

There is really no big secret to success in IM, but people manufacture this concept in their minds because they're desperately thinking that there's some quick magic pill or bullet that will suddenly make them an overnight success.

The real key here is to take consistent and focused action immediately after learning about something. Over time, as you become more successful, you should spend a lot more time taking action/implementing than learning, because in many cases the majority of the learning can only come through taking action.

Nothing really groundbreaking here, but yet so many people miss this simple point, even when it's staring them in the face.

Actually I'm gonna go on a slightly different angle. For success have good decision making criteria....if you get too excited by different products (bright and shiny though they are) get someone else to control the final decision.

Bad decisions made in the promise of riches kills wannabes all the time. Not only that but it drains time and money while disapating focus.

There are hundreds of successful IM models that you can easily emulate. All you have to do is follow directions! Along the way, test and tweak what works for you and then double up on the winning steps and cut the losing steps. Everything is a process and everything can be measured!

What I meant by "success" in internet marketing is that the profits your internet business generate. So it is not simple marketing it is actually internet marketing...Some internet marketing success secrets are:

Set up a follow-up system.
Tracking progress
Know the value of customer
Analyze yourself
Make improvements in future

So it is important to improve your skills as internet marketer not merely the marketing techniques can help at internet.

Do not waste your valuable time striving for perfection just do the best that you can.

When I first started I spent an age writing my first ebook.

I kept on and on trying to make it better.

Of course I had no real idea of when it would be perfect but that is what I tried for.

When I had completed it, it sold and sold and in all honesty it was not that much different from my first draft.

So since then I have always aimed to do the best that I can.

You can always update or change things AFTER you get your product out there in the market.

It might be a bit old school but i find writing my ideas and plans down on paper really help to focus the mind, also keeping a diary and jotting down what has been done that day helps to keep track on the progress of a particular project.

The list is worth reading and applying because it reveals most of what we commonly taken for granted in our day-to-day activities. We need a plan (business goal), method to accomplish the plan (business action) and commitment to attain the plan (business motivation).

Your psychology, and considering the psychology of your customers.

Self doubt kills people. Why? Because we can only act in accordance with how we feel about ourselves. If you can install massive confidence and know your product has value, it changes your "swagger."

Knowing what your customers are thinking - Everything down to the color of the box of your ebook, to the words you say in your text and what kinds of images people make in their heads as a result.

Probably (in my experience) the most effective strategies are to build trust, love people, overdeliver, provide more than massive value, have content that NO ONE ELSE HAS.. literally, WHAT NO ONE ELSE IS TALKING ABOUT, stand for something you feel is significant and be willing to be tenacious.

TRY ANYTHING - Trial, feedback, calibration, trial, feedback, calibration.

In my experience.. software is good, building links is obviously smart and effective, but being the person people talk about and are psyched to check out, is definitely more effective.

my secret is I work like crazy, no rest , no clowning around and at the end of the day I wind down reading what others are doing. I work when others are resting . I create as much content as possible and do not ever stop , no matter how boring , how dull things are , you need to keep working . Thats the real secret to out work your competition.

I think somehow most of the people who have commented in this thread already mentioned enough of their secrets for yourself and anyone else reading to digest.

I agree with most of the points mentioned here such as: stay focused, persevere, not giving yourself excuses, work hard when people are resting, etc.

There is one more thing I would love to add on: knowing your limits and your body before you totally wear yourself out (unless you are getting outsourcers already).

This is one thing I have learnt, that you simply cannot work non-stop just because you are very committed. You need to take good care of your health too, if you want to succeed in the long term and have the life to spend the money you earn. Agree?

You hit another nail on its head! I agree that we have our limitation and that's is one of the secrets that we must never forget. We cannot do it all alone by ourselves simply because no man is an island. We need others. We need their suggestions, comments, skills, commendation, affiliation, helps, assistance, encouragement, etc. Thanks for the input!

I have a well organized routine that i am keep it for a long time: I wake up, i eat, go to the pc and: starting checking e-mail, make submissions in search engines and directories, commenting on forums, blog commenting ALL the day, and after that I Sleep

Add massive value to people. Find what are their pain and needs are and let them know that you have the solution to their problem.

Do not focus on money, focus on helping people with the best product have, believe in your product, off course if it is really good...

Helping people and becoming the best is your field is the only way money will come to you and as a result you will be a successful internet marketer!!!

The secret is to model what the successful people are doing, learn how they do it then take massive action. I'd suggest for beginners to stick to one course and really absorb the content and implement those steps before trying something different.

Agreed. There are no truly deep secrets in IM that no one knows about. As a matter of fact, many of the "secrets" can be easily gleaned just from observing the behavior and actions of the top internet marketers.

I find that the closest thing approximating a "secret" in this industry that very few seem to want to acknowledge is the fact that focus and consistency are so very vital to success in IM, especially since information overload and distraction tend to afflict just about every internet marketer, albeit with different levels of intensity.

The secret part is... if you make money and didn't tell anyone.

Now that's the secret. But when I try to figure things out... it was just a consistency and hardwork.

Remember that everything is worth testing and you always get something out of it: you learn something new, you learn what not to do, get an idea for a twist. The worst person in Internet Marketing is not the one who tries and fails but the one who downloads and reads and reads but never tries. Internet Marketing can be a very unforgiving business, for one success you have you might see 5 failures. You keep going, you keep taking action, keep learning, until you find something that works, then you scale it up then leverage it, then once you have that mastered where you can do every single thing you need to do daily with ease and in a certain time frame, then you move on to another method. Before you know it you will have a portfolio of successful methods you are implementing, one of which will be selling your strategies to what you used to be, a newbie. This job comes full circle. Don't give up, don't get discouraged, write your goals down put them by your computer so you see them everyday. Take pride in the work, be excited for the opportunity, stay away from spam, be a good marketer and try to help people. Nothing feels better than helping people find the information they want, or a product at a better price, and getting paid for it and at the end of the day being able to say that you have no boss and work from home.

my secret is effort and being smart on your work. Since you can't just rely on your effort alone for it will also expire. Sometimes you need to make good choices and decisions on how you gonna reach your goal.
