Need a Wordpress membership plugin...

I hate to ask for help with something like this, but I've been looking for over an hour and keep coming up short.

I need a WP plugin that allows users to register on my WP site for free, then pay depending on what role they'd like to be in. Every packaged plugin I've found to date uses a separate user database just for subscribers - I need them to be WP users, and assigned to roles.

My first order of business once this is in place is to write a classifieds ad system that allows users to post a set number of ads for their membership level per month. I've already gotten bbPress integrated, and with this functionality, I hope to add a "private forum" featured based on the user's role in Wordpress.

Bonus points if the plugin allows 2CO payments in addition to PayPal.

      I looked at about 15, I honestly don't remember.

      I'm at my day job right now, but S2Member looks like it might be a good fit. It specifically says that it uses the in-built "Roles" functionality, which is my primary requirement.
