Problems with gmail

what the heck, just spent 30 minutes trying to make a new gmail account, and every time it says "In order to check the availability of more usernames, please type the characters you see in the image below"

Every single one I type out and it says incorrect (The characters you entered didn't match the word verification. Please try again). I just did one that said "bedisses" and it tells me I entered it incorrectly. . No offense but I can read and type and have been on forums for years and used to the string verification.... something is wrong with Gmail

edit - forgot, called a buddy up and over the phone had him try to setup a new gmail account, and it's telling him the same thing, it just keeps refreshing the string id picture?????

  • Try clearing your cache, cookies, or whatever.

    Then try to do that again.

    It works for me most of the time, if I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

  • Try to restart your PC or clear your cookies or history, that's normal Google is strict sometimes.
