-> Fake Clickbank Earnings...!!

When you buy something nowadays you really want to make sure
the product will work for you.

If a product is claiming to be able to make you $1000+ a day then
you want to see proof.

Remember the old saying

"if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is"

Go check out this thread I found this morning.

Would you buy from this guy??

This is a joke!!!!

Take something away from this and make absolutely sure you are
100% geniune in everything you do. Don't damage your reputation
as people are always watching...

Also make sure you trust the people you buy from. Don't just take their
word for it.

The warrior forum had a great area for product reviews so check this
out before you make a calculated decision.

Don't get burned newbies..!!!!

Go and have a giggle...

              That's dangerous information to know...

It makes me laugh that people still show earnings.

I could show you $3000 earnings this month in my PayPal account - but nobody is ever going to know how I earned it.

I could have sold my car on eBay - (I didn't, it's from design work)

I take ALL earnings with a pinch of salt and recommend that everyone else does too.

              Kindest regards,
              Karl.

One obvious thing that jumps out on his Clickbank graphics- his daily earnings amounts are all whole dollars: 900.00, 656.00. That's pretty unlikely considering how they calculate their fees.

I personally like how he said the screenshot was due to a glitch at Clickbank, and then proceeded to make the bluriest video you have ever seen to prove that he is legit.

Seriously, if you want to look legit, at least do a screencast with Camtasia of you logging in the the account, etc...

What I do now when I create income proof is I crank up Camtasia and make
a video of me logging into my Clickbank and PayPal accounts.

Video is a lot more convincing than screen prints, so if you can swing it, do it.

I find my conversions have gone up since using video, not just on my sales
pages but in my email campaigns.

Amazing, I always love it when scammers get exposed, especially when they make such ridiculous mistakes.

Steven has the right idea, its a lot better to show "Live" proof which gives a much greater level of credibility. Someone else (can't remember who) also suggested going to an ATM maching and record the balance with a phone camera to prove revenue.

Any graphic can be faked, you do not even have to be good at photoshop and we all know that some peoples claims are so "Extreme" that you can smell the BS from 1 mile away.

                          Great thred!

I actually mention that in my book. This is just one of the ways to manipulate perception....there are a ton of other ways. I don't believe anything anymore to be real honest and I would be willing to wager that most of the marketers online that show outstanding numbers do this...

BTW, traffic can be faked as well with that javascript code as well as virtually anything else. In a nutshell, you can change a page to show whatever you want.

a few things that come to mind after looking at that thread:

                  1) what kind of people would actually be OK with faked screen shots?!?!?! I hope the WF members are of higher caliber than that.. People actualy came out and said they didn't care if the screen shots were fake!!! I'm speachless...

                  2) Some people WANT to believe the dream so badly that they will ignore any and all evidence, logic, and common sense to the contrary.

                  • @Brian - that's what I was thinking! Given that this guy probably mangled his way through Photoshop, which he's obviously no expert in, I kept thinking to myself Geez, put that time and effort into learning marketing, or tweaking PPC campaigns, etc...

It's gotta be more work doing that and all the time defending the indefensible than it would be doing something legitimately revenue-building!

And yeah, I'm still absolutely stunned by the "right, ok, you posted plainly-faked screenshots of your earnings. Now can I buy the product anyway?"

Forget about the wanting it to be real so bad you'd 'overlook' the BS - what about "why would you have to fake sales results in the first place if the thing actually worked?"

                    ....wow.

If they are honest, there is nothing wrong about posting them. Let's not fall into the trap of thinking that all pics like that are faked. I always stand by whatever evidence I post. Whether someone believes it or not, does not change anything.

I read there is software now that will automatically allow you change earnings amounts. You dont even need to be a Photoshop god anymore. Best advice I say is only trust videos of their earnings. For right now its almost impossible to beat.

I really hate to see posts like these.

                    Why?

They remind me on how many newbies are probably falling for this.

If someone is going to show actual proof of earnings, they should at least do a camtasia video of their ENTIRE browser window and physically log into their accounts so you can see in the address bar that they are SSL logins and that there is no way in the world to possibly fake it.

Give it time and eventually everyone in the world will never believe earnings, even videos like I just described.

So what do you do? Give away free samples of your product.

                    Just like the grocery stores!

They give you a free sample, you either love it or hate it...

And then you either buy it or not.

Same goes with selling products online (in my opinion)

Even if the earnings are real, that's not the full story. You don't know what was done or how much was spent to generate those earnings.

Very true. They might spending $500 on PPC to make $600 so they net $100. Minus fees, etc. So even the big dogs might spend 500K on PPC to make a million. Yes 500K net is nice but most folks buying the ebook don't have 500K to spend on PPC.

I shot a video showing how easy it is to fake it (I do not reveal the java code):

Sadly you don't even need Java code... you can
just use Firebug and edit right on the page.

I'll never show a proof of earnings screenshot,
there are far better ways to gain credibility.

As though I'm not Jaded and Cynical enough... LMAO (sorta) you had to give me one more thing to wonder about. I now have to wonder how many times I've fallen for this scam over the years. And who the h%** thinks up this stuff?

It works with paypal to, so video proof is really the only way, I seen nick marks use steve's method where you actually show people , that you are logging into your account to check your earnings

so if it works for paypal it will work for anything so its probaly better to show actual video proof or just not show proof at all.

One thing that all of us should take away as a lesson in human behavior. DESPITE the fake screen shots, DESPITE this guy's total lack of credibility, DESPITE all the warnings, people still kept asking for the reviews and after the reviews, still asked for review copies. That just shows you people are desperate to make money and you can still sell the dream no matter how inept you are.
