I Love India - Marketing Results

On one of my sites I am getting just over half the amount of U.S. visitors from India. The traffic from all other countries is minimal compared to those two. The amazing thing though is that even with the U.S. having double the visitors my conversions are ballpark about 80% from India and 20% from the U.S. I have not been doing any special targeting and would not have any idea what to do anyway.

I don't think it has anything to do with the niche either.

Is anyone else seeing anything similar to this? I guess I should do some research and try to tap into this even more.

    The 'weak' dollar makes it attractive to shop the US market place

    What product are you selling? Maybe there's something specific about your product that appeals to the Indian market.

    I spent a year in India recently and have a bunch of .in domains. The level of internet knowledge in India is very high. The average Indian kid on the street knows how to get under the hood of a computer and make it dance. And they are very hungry. If you're getting a good reception in India ride it like a tiger.
