Quick way to convert .doc files into .txt?

I have a zip file with about 100 PLR article in .doc format that I need to convert to .txt. Is there a quick way to do this? Thanks.

    I don't know of an automated way, but open office and ms word have options to save as .txt file. Otherwise, just highlight each document and copy/paste into a text editor.

    If you are using Word, then you might write a short script that saves-as text and closes all open documents. Of course, you'll have to accept the 'lost formatting' box everytime.

      It converts thousands of files at once, and they have other conversion software also including PDF, XML, Spreadsheets (XLS, XLSX), images (TIFF, JPG, BMP, GIF) DOCX, RTF, HTML, etc to name a few.
