Flipping Websites seems just too easy.... Is there a catch ??

I got 5 Sites made for me for less than $25 a piece and all of the sudden a light bulb went off in my head that I could probably sale these Sites for $75 to $100 a piece at Flippa or somewhere else. They are really well put together Sites.

Is that easy to Flip new, cheap, quality Websites and make some nice profits ?? There has to be a catch, no ?? Otherwise I could see this making waaaay more than a full time income !!

I think the competition can vary on Flippa. Sometimes there are a many sellers but few buyers. And sometimes there are trends where certain types of sites are hot. You probably just need to test it and see if it sells, and then refine your approach as you learn.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

    I hear you discrat,

And I've been thinking the same thoughts for a while now.

With various twists to what you said I have sold "$25" sites for anything from $40 to $400 and even in one case a couple of thousand.

To do it consistently and often would be a nice thing indeed.

The process to flip them is pretty simple. Whether you get enough profit from the m to make it worth your while, is something else. Lots of people do it and make some good bucks from it, but those are usually sites with a track record. not always, I hasten to say, but usually.

As long as you are willing to put up the listing fees, there is nothing really to stop you from trying it out. It might very well exceed your expectations.

I have been concentrating on my more than dozen Blogs doing SEO, Article marketing to build them up. In meantime I have been looking for other revenue streams and like I said when I bought these Sites for so cheap a light bulb in my head went off.

It seems to me what Capitalism is all about. And that is finding a source so cheap to produce your product that it would be hard NOT to make a profit. Maybe I am off mark, but buying good quality Websites below $25 seems like a no brainer to make some profit on the turnaround.

A lot of people do make a lot of money from site flipping, although to be honest, I'd say the best way to go about it would to be to buy the websites, look out for websites which need some work done, weather it's optimizing, or adding new content, or even just a few more links to get the top spot result. Then work on these websites, obviously you'll be looking for websites which are getting traffic and making money, spend some time working on the website, whilst making money to your adsense/affiliate accounts, then when you've made the website better, you can sell it and you'll probably (Hopefully) be able to make a nice tidy profit. Obviously working on the website is going to cut more and push your profit down, but if you know what your doing, you can quite easily do most of it yourself.

Site buyers are like eBook buyers -- always on the lookout.

Flipping is no different to other forms of marketing...i.e.

*GET THEIR NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS*

Got a site on Flippa already? Ask them to sign up for an early-bird notification to your next bargain.

Then offer them a pre-Flippa offer...

If they don't bite, put your sites on Flippa, but offer them first refusal.

    etc, etc.

But get your prospects' email address above all else.

I have never been able to successful flip any sites, but maybe I am not good at it. Flippa wanted to charge me $19 and I wasn't sure if I wanted to proceed. Do you use flippa or some other service??

There is a catch - hardly anyone buys startup sites now. Sorry I had to burst your bubble.

The problem w/ selling sites on the low end, is that sometimes they do not sell on the first go around. And by the 2nd go around, you've used up your profit margin.

The trick is to keep having sites built like this, but then cycle them all through a month or 2 of promotion so that they show a bit of income. Sites usually sell for an average of 10x their monthly income. So any work you do promoting will be rewarded 10x's over.
