Looking for a bit of advice based on which direction I should follow

Hello Fellow Warriors,

Thanks for taking the time to read my thread I was not going to create this but I feel pretty lost right now as to what to do, let me explain quickly a bit about myself well I have a telemarketing background including some other small bits of offline Marketing as well, I have been getting into the whole Social Media Marketing sector over the last two months or so, I created this business/website called WebPR4U > Social Media Marketing Done For You | Internt Marketing for Small Busniesses I created some videos and added lots of interesting facts and gained a few clients however not enough to pursue, it was something I was going to push forward with however it has not taken of as expected so now I am kind of stuck and over overwhelmed as to what to do, I see so many different things on this fantastic website but can not for the life of me choose which is the best to focus all my attention on to start a carer, so I thought well why not swallow my pride and be honest with people and admit I dont know what is for the best and see what kind of help I may get back.

My maths is beyond poor and is also something which I need to sort out and I am the first to admit that, in fact I was going to get started with learning it about 2 weeks ago however I found out that my brother died from taking drugs so got kind of sidetracked, since then it has been family, friends, and dark times really, but over the last week or so I have been browsing around on Warrior Forum learning little bits here and there and just trying to gain some knowledge, I chose to possibly start a carer creating mini Niche sites based on Amazon products and even brought a plugin today and also an awsome little Amazon Sniper tool, but then I read about how some people think theres not enough money in it and then I stumble across a Facebook money making method and wonder is this the way forward, so I guess to cut to the chase I just wanted to hear what you think would be good for me to pursue. Once again thank you so much for reading this thread I hope this has not come across as just one more of 'Those' threads and that I have offered my whole truth.

Thanks for that this has not been the best Xmas this year if I am honest, however life goes on etc.. I will work out what to do just takes time I guess, just a shame I have left it so late in my life to sort this out, it's only really today that I have been thinking how bad I have mucked up.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. Also, you are never too late. Your focus right now has to be what's best for your future and that of your family.

Regarding your question, I think you need to start focusing. Try out a few different type of revenue generating sites. See which type is more fun for you, easier to create, brought in more profit, etc.

Making money on the internet is fairly easy, from a conceptual standpoint, but it requires hard work. You are building virtual real estate. Having a portfolio of virtual properties is what it's going to end up making you money.

How much money do you need? How much money does an average site of yours make you? The math to figure out how many sites you need will be easy.

            Hi There

Thank you buddy I am just a bit confused as to what to choose right now lol, theres so much to choose from I thought about being a Affiliate for Amazon even created some videos on YouTube and gained some money by directing them to the products so then thought why not try with mini sites instead, however then I read people's replys on threads some saying that it's not the way to go, so then I am back to square one kind of a repeating cycle for me with this kind of thing.

Lee, I make $1000-2000 a month from Amazon. I don't even have a network of Amazon sites. Just casual blogging. In fact, my plan for 2011 is to bring my associate earnings to the $10,000-$20,000 range by simply replicating what I've been doing with a couple of sites I occasionally blog on. Whoever told you that you can't make good money from Amazon is a moron. Sure, you can't expect to make million of dollars per year. You need a huge list, your own product(s), and rockstar affiliate friends for that kind of earnings. But if you are aiming at 5 or 6 figures, it's doable.

Man that sounds awsome and hopefully one day I will be able to get to that kind of level, funny thing happened the other day my lovely girlfriend she got a new job and she is very clever and works for the council sorting out numbers etc... she is the complete opposite of me, anyways the funny thing is that now she wants to get a new flat and thats going to cost even more money than the one we have now, so not really funny but you no what I mean based on a ironic type of way and perfect timing.

You are in the same situation every single person here has been in or is in right now. Jumping around, pulled here then there... wondering what path to choose... it's very confusing.

The people who become successful are the ones who take action. They simply say "Let's go!" and pick a method, work it like crazy, see if it works for THEM and then go from there.

If it works, duplicate it. If it doesn't, work something else like crazy.

Whatever you do, don't get caught in the trap of waking up one day thinking "Amazon niche sites are for me" and half heartedly setting about working that system only to change your mind to adsense half way through the day.

Have faith in yourself, choose the one you like best, work it and see what happens. Don't take failure too seriously. It's only the worst that can happen. If it works, tweak it and duplicate it. If it doesn't, scrap it and find something else to work.

Trial and error, my friend. If you have the time and desire, you WILL be successful at this internet marketing malarky!

I think you should continue with the technique that has fetched you some money already. Only try to put in more effort and "work a lil harder" and you`ll be amazed at what you`ll get. Focus! Focus! Focus!

Thank you I will be taking a long hard think about which way to go now, at this point in time I am either going to go with Facebook pages and incorporating Affiliate methods, or I will go with the Amazon route by creating mini sites to promote each product not quite there yet, but will have an idea by tomorrow I think as to which to choose from. Thanks for responding to my thread.

Well, if you ever get discouraged man, Network Marketing Still works, It takes some time to get up and running. But if you stick with it it will pay off.

Amazon is a good way to go, A guy I know does video reviews for products and puts his amazon affiliate link in the description of his videos. I'm sure he makes good money.

Thanks I have been doing exactly that and giving them the title Top Ten etc... it does work to a point but if I am honest has only made me $20 so not going to break the bank, it's just finding that uniqe method proving it gaining and then repeating like crazy, I just get confused based on do I go with the mini sites or stick with the videos blah blah lol, you no what I mean just gets confusing for me, I am going to push forward though and pull my finger out just need to decide 100% exactly which to go for.
